An exceptional value resort on a beautiful gently sloping sandy beach. Sam the owner is a brilliant host, nothing is too much trouble and he can arrange anything! His daughters are lovely always smiling and joking. All the chalets have a seaview. Sam arranged our two hour longboat transfer to koh mook and even rang to make sure we arrived ok. Also the food in the restaurant is freshly prepared and very reasonable. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend a stay here.

Beach front hotel + very quiet.

“Unbelievable Value for Money to get away from massive tourist islands.”

This property is maybe my favourite place I’ve stayed while backpacking in Asia. The people who run the hotel are super friendly and helpful. They helped us find places to get haircuts on the island, there were kayaks on the beach that were just free to borrow for the day and we saw some very nice private beaches only 5 minutes away. We could rent bicycles for just 50 baht a day and motorcycles for 250. The food is great for all 3 meals and cheap too. You can get large beers for 100-110. The actual bungalow is pretty basic but you have a fridge and good AC and you’re right on the beach and have a little patio where you can see the sunset. Getting to the island isn’t super easy. we took a car from Trang, followed by a long tail boat (50 baht per person or 350 for charter), then we took a motorbike taxi to the resort for 100 baht. But definitely worth it

EVERYTHING! There were issues of overbooking at the time of our stay and Sam addressed these seamlessly - with really zero inconvenience to us, actually staying at next door resort. He continued to act as our host and we benefitted very much enjoying hospitality at both resorts. The chalet was comfy with full recliners on the beachfront terrace catching the late afternoon sun. The beach here is pure paradise - at sunrise, at sunset, in the midday heat from under a parasol, for beachcombing, for swimming, kayaking ... only occasional longtail boats come and go. It was truly a wrench to leave here. Food and drinks (special shoutout to the cocktails) great - and really reasonably priced for hotel. Bike hire a breeze and a joy to ride on the islands safe deserted roads . Excursions & onward travel sorted effortlessly by Sam.

“Best resort on Koh Sukon!”

Everything was perfect!

The resort is located on a wide beach, among trees, birdsong and in a quiet location. the owner and his family always smiling and extremely helpful. They organized airport transfer, a fantastic trip to the national park and many others. The food in their restaurant is wonderful, especially the curry, fish, crabs and shrimps. From the bungalow there is a view of the sea, from the terrace you can admire the sunset. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We will definitely come back to you!

Room totally fine, restaurant good & fairly priced, peaceful location, very friendly & helpful staff.

Staff and owner were great. Location was beautiful with very nice beach that was pretty clean even beyond property (trash on beach can be an issue in rural Thailand). Food at restaurant was good. Very laid back island. Very good value for money. Although this is jungle environment where some insects and geckos are to be expected, more attention to cleaning and a bit of freshening up of bungalow so fewer intruders would make this an outstanding resort for money.

A truly memorable stay that we will cherish forever. Beautiful island, with beautiful people. Sam and the team are what make this place special. Nothing is ever too much. Simple but clean and effective AC Bungalows right on the beach away from the crowds at a very reasonable rate. Wonderful.
