An amazing, authentic place with friendly locals, wild nature, and very cheap and tasty food. There is no rush on this island. You can rent a scooter. We had one for our entire stay. I can't imagine being there without a scooter, as the island is vast. Just watch out for cows, goats, and lizards, which are commonly found on the road. There are also a lot of snakes. I've never seen so many in my life :)) The accommodation was amazing, peaceful, wild, clean. It's not for someone looking for the luxury of white beaches and clear water. The sand here is dark, but the atmosphere of the island more than makes up for it. I'd like to go back one day and see if the island has retained its authentic charm :)

“Amazing relaxing stay on the beach!”

We loved our stay with Gop and her team. We felt like part of the family🥰It was perfect for a week of quiet and relaxation. We had the beach bungalow right on the water and could hear the ocean at night. The beach was great for long walks at low tide. The beach bar had great food. Thank you for a memorable stay!

I had a whole bungalow apartment for myself which was awesome! Gop and Nico were always willing to help and make my stay the most comfortable! Will definitely stay there again if/when coming back to Koh Sukon!

Big bungalow just on the beach (big enough for 5 people), surrounded just by trees and greenery. Very quiete. Nice long beach with nobody on. Very good breakfast, you can choice from 8 plates. The bungalow has AC, fridge, bathroom, nets on the door, outside sitting on the terrace. The owners took care of us, arranged for everything we needed, such as massage (was really good), or a boat to next island. We also could have rent a motorbike there. Hope, we can come back.

The owner she s so kind and so helpful, really nice to meet her she s taking about customer . Room so nice with see view have terrasse you ca enjoy . Bed comfortable have hot water for shower . To be honest u need a motorcycle to visit around but if u have many days u can go for journey hiking .

Everything, the owner was very kind, helpful, served excellent food, cottage was great, very quiet, close to the sea. Couldn’t ask for more, just what I was looking for.

“Tranquil Stay at a Hidden Gem – Authentic Thai Island Experience”

A beautiful, idyllic mini-resort on a still-authentic Thai island. Gop, the host, and her team do an excellent job. The journey was organized for us in advance: We took a mini-van to Trang, where a friend of Gop picked us up and brought us to the harbor. From there, we crossed over with a longtail boat and completed the final stretch by tuk-tuk. The entire property is beautifully designed and impeccably maintained, a testament to the host's green thumb. We stayed in a beachfront bungalow, which was comfortably furnished and perfectly located. The à la carte breakfast was excellent and plentiful. The restaurant at the Beach Bar offers a small but superbly curated menu, and every dish we tried was delicious. We used the laundry service, and our clothes were returned clean, neatly folded, and ready to wear within a day. The beachside massage was also fantastic. The resort is right by the ocean, and swimming is great both at low and high tide. However, there’s no white sandy beach or crystal-clear blue water here. The resort is quite isolated, with the nearest village 15 minutes away on foot, offering two restaurants. For shopping, you can ask Gop, who is incredibly helpful, or visit the harbor village. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return!

“Peaceful small resort on forested beach.”

Simple but comfortable cabin with large veranda, surrounded by trees and well away from the other two cabins, but with view over beach. Very quiet except for birdsong. Wonderful hosts, good food at breakfast (included), and in the evenings at reasonable price, on the beach, about 100 metres from our cabin. Beach immediately opposite resort not ideal for swimming due to rocks, but there is a beautiful beach 10 minutes away by tuk-tuk. But that area lacks the peace and privacy of Dugong resort.

Perfect place to relax and to forget the rest of the world. Great hospitality. We hope to be able to come back some day.

“A little gem on a little island”

Great location right at sea, nice bungalow, good food and very friendly and helpfull staff. No white sandy beach and no swimming poule but who cares. A five star 'backpackers' location.

Everything. There is even a kettle and mini fridge in the beach hut. Awesome sunsets. Perfect to calm down and entirely relax. Nothing around to disturb (except some boats passing in the distance) - motorbike recommended and rented on the spot.

Very nice place, with very nice hosts. The food is more suited to European tastes. Apart from that, there is nothing to complain about. It's a wonderful place to relax.

People who run it so helpful and laid back it's isolated but that's ok with us koh sukron is sparce no hotels hardly any tourists nothing to do but chill so if you want action don't come here .

Very friendly welcome from Gop and her husband, the owners. Magnificent beach, quiet, away from the noise! Very nice bar and restaurant! Very good cuisine! Very confortable bungalow for a Family of 4. Perfect!

“A magical place, forever in our hearts!”

This wasn't just a room, it was a house. Bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and an outside terrace area. We absolutely loved our stay here at the Dugong and on the island of Koh Sukorn. It will forever be in our hearts. Gop is a very friendly owner, laid back and has the best bar on the island. Definitely recommend getting a bike to get around the island. Must visits are the watermelon farm, art and crafts (tie die shop) and also the restaurant / cooking class at Ya-Hoi View - Cashew View (Pad Thai). We loved our stay here and will be back!

Super charming, helpful and amazing host, we felt so welcome and enjoyed our stay very much. The food was outstanding and the bungalow was very pretty with lots of hammocks and stunning views. can't wait to come back !
