The finsh and detail was a better than I experienced anywhere else on the island. The room was a delight. It felt luxurious but simple and comfy. There food was very good. The roo. Was beautiful and had really comfy places to lounge about, great hammocks etc, great beach view.

Starlight Beach deserves its high score on booking! Ao and the staff are very kind, the place is beautiful and the bungalows are nice and well thought through : mosquito net all around, good lighting, refill water station, hamac with view of the sea. I will go back !

“Beyond Expectations – premium service and a serene getaway”

The absolute highlight of this eco-friendly place is the staff. Even though they are Burmese and primarily speak English -- barely Thai, their dedication to communication and service is unmatched. Their hospitality is even better than some 5-star hotels we’ve stayed at, they were helpful at every single step, from room special support without any request to dining and general guest assistance. The Location & Privacy : Despite being near other busy resorts, this place offers high privacy and peace. The property is well-equipped with the essentials: towels, toiletries, and a safe. I especially loved the eco-friendly touch of providing personal water flasks for free refills, which significantly reduces plastic waste. The Room : Although there is no air conditioning, the fans provided were more than enough. Our unit had a large master bedroom and a smaller one. I was so touched when the staff proactively prepared a large portable fan in the master bedroom for us. Truly thoughtful service. Dining : The menu features essential Thai signatures and some interesting Burmese options. It’s perfect if you aren’t looking for an overwhelming variety. They focus on pork and chicken, with shrimp as the main seafood option. Vegetarian dishes are also available. Tips for Future Guests : The property provides very clear details about the stay, please read them carefully, especially regarding mosquitoes and insects. I highly recommend bringing heavy-duty mosquito spray and calamine lotion as the forest mosquitoes are quite large. However, there is a constant breeze throughout the day. The upper deck by the beach is the best spot to catch the wind, and the restaurant is well-equipped with ceiling and floor fans for every table.

Excellent stay for a few days lazing in a hammock looking over the bay.. if you get the chance, book the bungalow overlooking the bay.. not cheap, but well worth it. Top marks to Todd and his team.

We spent an amazing week at this resort. The room we got was very confortable, the staff was very kind and helped us a lot to organise the activities and transport. The food of the resort restaurant was delicious and at a good price. Our room was just next to a beautiful beach with some fishes to see nearby

“Just Lovely”

De host was such a friendly man, he really made us feel at home. I forgot his name (shame on me). The location is on a good place close tho the weird hippy bar (which is a sight to see 😅) the beach is cultivatet and private at the same time. Th is sweap the whole property all the time, zo there where very little insects (for beeing in the jungle :). The rooms where not extravertly luxurious, but comfortable, clean and everything you need. Really liked the cooling water bottles and cold water which you got get at the main building. There also was muskio spry and suncream avaliable for all the guests. These little things made it a really comfortable place. The restaurant was amazing, and the all th were staff was so welcoming! Would recommend everybody 😊 love to come again!
