Great location!! The beach is amazing, you can really enjoy swimming everyday and relaxing under the shadows enjoying the cooling breeze! Sunset is something you don't have to miss everyday! Bungalow was absolutely great! Stuff smiley and very helpful! Thai and Burmese food great! Free instant coffee and fresh water! Real paradise!

“Wonderfull stay!”

I had a wonderful time at Banana Resort in the lovely and quiet Buffalo Bay! I extended my stay here by 10 days. The bungalow wasbasic and somewhat rustic, but great value for the price. It was directly on the beach and had a little restaurant with really great food. I loved the staff at the place. I can't wait to visit again!

“Paradise beach”

Rustic beach huts. Clean and minimalist. A bed, shelving, soft pillows, fan (air con in ours) Basic but what can you expect from a hut! Shower had hot water. The beach is the best yet. Softly lapping waves, white sandy beaches. The staff are polite and helpful. Food was good and inexpensive. We could have stayed much longer the beach was such a chill out and the water was warm and clean. Lived it here.

“Dreamy beach stay”

I think one of the best value for money in the island. Right on the beach, and one of the nicest parts of beach with wide sand and lots of shade. Staff are adorable, the food is decent and it was delightful to wake up in the middle of nature.

“Völlig überteuert für die Ausstattung”

The location ist absolutely great, the stuff ist nice and helpful and the food OK. I lived in the worden Bungalow 12 and was shocked when arriving. The pictures in booking.com must be very old, the only new thing of the Bungalow was the door locker. The Equipment related to the high price was more than poor. Only aircondition, one room instead of living and sleeping room as claimed in the description, only cold Water in shower, no water heater for Coffee, no Refridgerator, no wardrobe, but 50€ the night after Christmas. The Cover of the bed was awfull Material synthetic fiber, small and the pattern of a kindergarten. My Impression was, that the owner tried to make a Maximum of Profit with a Minimum of Efford. I can easily life without any comfort, but then the rate should be low as well. After Reservation time was over I had various other beach Bungalows on Koh Phayam which were much cheaper and offered a drastically higher quality.

“Bad incident.”

Everything started out quite well and the room seemed fine. The staff seemed friendly. The room had no open windows and there was a smell of incense or some sweet pungent room spray. I began to get suspicious that it was masking something around dinner time.

Located on a beautiful beach. The food here is very good, Thai & Burmese. A hammock is on your balcony with the best bungalows. Very friendly staff.

The location is lovely and the atmosphere very friendly and chilled. Happy good place to stay. Love the restaurant and the mixed Thai/Myanmar kitchen. Different interesting menu.
