Extremely helpful manager Mia. Very nice staff memebers. Good location in the middle of the 'busiest' part of Ko Mak. Walking distance in between two beautiful beaches.

Koh Mak is a beautiful island with a stunning beach just five minutes walk from the river retreat, many good restaurants and bars to choose from nearby too. The property is designed nicely and is easy to access. The air mattress was comfortable in the tent and the bedding fresh and clean.

Lovely staff, calm atmosphere and cozy accommodation surrounded by nature. Comfortable room with ac, mini fridge and a kettle, and drinking water is also provided! We loved it there and extended our stay.

“Excellent value for money, good location”
Location - not exactly what I would describe as a river, more a pond, but lovely location right on the water with lilies growing below our hammock-hung terrace. Set well back from the ‘main’ road in town so secluded but within easy walking distance of the beach and a good choice of eateries - the bakery (Joy? On Google as ‘Homemade Ice Cream’?) makes excellent croissant daily, Ball Cafe makes a decent breakfast, Mong Kitchen is a good supper venue and Baanyai works for a beach lunch. There is a bar onsite which was pretty lively on occasion - which may be a positive or a negative for guests. I think they are planning to serve food as the season gets underway… Mr Totti is your man for moped or bike hire.
