The staff were very nice and service minded. Located just on the beach that was cleaned from debris everyday. Clean water and soft sand..Very quiet and serene.

The rooms are very clean. For a resort next to the beach, it has a really good room, clean toilets, and extremely friendly staff. It has a really laidback environment and it is definitely worth the stay. The beach is extremely clean and well maintained.

“Wonderful place to stay on Koh Mak”

We spent 4 nights there in Jan 2026. The beach is gorgeous, facilities are excellent, rooms unbelievably good. Whole resort is top notch jn a lovely naturalistic way - think bamboo and driftwood, not glass and brushed aluminium! The whole feel of the resort helps you to relax and enjoy the outstanding beauty of the area. Staff are super friendly, without being over zealous to please. Personally, I think this the best part of the island to stay having driven across most of Koh Mak today in a golf buggy and visited some of the other resorts. Don’t get me wrong, they were beautiful too, just not as well appointed and connected to Koh Mak life like Sabai Beach Resort. Thoroughly recommend and I will definitely return one day.

Such a hidden gem - amazing offer for the price, right on the beach. I had the garden room, and I have to say it was a really good choice. It really looks like the resort is run but women because they have great attention to details. The room has a hair dryer, a small fridge and even mosquito nets - so you can sleep without AC and wake up with the sound of the birds. Good internet speed (they even have a 5G network). The beach is also very nice, plenty of beach chairs and amazing sunsets.

Small resort at the quiet end of the beach. Just 2 beachfront and a further 2 set back "beachfront" chalets as the picture, and a further 4 ground floor rooms in a block behind. Nice small garden area through which you walk 20m to the beach of very fine sand. There's a nice beach bar serving a limited range of food and drinks. Enough shaded sun beds for the residents. There are a number of restaurants within walking distance of the resort, perhaps 400m. These include an excellent vegan restaurant ,"Pak Pak", with especially good breakfast dishes.

Beautiful view from the seaside cottages. - Beach and sea ideal for families with small children. - Sand perfect for building sandcastles. Beach loungers - IMHO the best and the quiest part of the island, but at the same time close access to restaurants, grocery store, massage spa, pharmacy and other services.

The location was amazing. The bed was very comfortable and the Aircon was perfect.

Beach front hut , 200 m from the pier , beach hut is basic but fine for a couple of nights , the guy at the hotel was very hopeful , arranged our speed boat , rented us a new scooter , nice bar area ,

Perfect location, close to a beautiful beach and within walking distance of most activities on the island – bars, restaurants, etc. The receptionist was very helpful, arranging a taxi to and from the pier as well as a motorbike rental for us. The room was spacious, well-equipped, and quiet at night. A great place to stay – highly recommended.

We enjoyed our stay there very much. Perfect location. Super nice staff. Very good food (go for the seafood pizza). Yes there are sandflys and mosquitos but there are plenty options to protect yourself as well. We did not have any problems with both. Hopefully it was not our last visit
