“I felt comfortable”

I stayed at Koh Mak Homestay for two nights in December and felt very comfortable! The Italian host was always polite and accommodating, listened attentively and offered helpful tips when asked! Any problems (I had no water pressure due to a clogged shower head) were resolved immediately 👍🏻 You can also rent motorbikes here, so everything was perfect. The pier is about 800 meters away, a 15-minute walk! If I ever come back to Koh Mak, I will definitely stay here again! saluti dalla Germania 👋🏻

“Great homestay!”

I had a great stay at the homestay. The owner was always available had great advice and is super friendly. The room I stayed in was very spacious and clean with a big bathroom with a hot shower. The bed was super comfortable. I also was able to rent a motorbike there. It was hard to leave the place because I enjoyed my time there!

The room was very spacious with a large bed, it’s on a main road but you don’t hear any noise at night, was lovely a quiet, we slept very well here. The bathroom was also large and everything was super clean and well taken care of.

Wonderful homestay. Lovely helpful people. Very clean room. The outlook is amazing. Highly recommend.

First of all the hosts are fantastic, it's only a small place with 4 rooms but your welcomed like it's your own home. Lovely and clean, bed was one of the comfiest I've stayed in. Room was huge, big fridge, free hot drinks and water. The only bad thing is the room is quite dark and the only window is on the door but don't let it put you off!

Nice and quiet, good scooters to rent, helpful staff short walk to a couple of restaurants but really need a scooter or push bike to get around

The room is simple but clean, a bed is comfortable and a owner is nice. They rent scooters.

“Lovely stay in Koh Mak”

Great location. Fantastic place owners that will Make your stay incredible! Great room with smart storage and big fridge. The room is better, the bed is more comfortable and the general feeling of the room is better than the pictures!

The pictures don’t do the rooms justice - my room was so cosy. The bed was very soft and it was nicely decorated. It’s nearby a little convenience shop and a bicycle rental. The host was kind enough to drive me to the pier on my last day.

Alessandro and Nuu are very friendly and helpful and easy to socialise with. A very nice place to stay at.

Lovely and helpful owners. They offered early check in (10am), free pick up and drop off to the ferry. Free water refill, ac, fan, good wifi, hot water and proper fridge. They booked our ferry and bus to Bangkok. You can rent a bike for a really good price. Walking distance to a few shops and small restaurant, but you need a bike to explore the island

“Good value for money”

Great hosts, peaceful location and a clean room. Scooter rental was possible for 200 to 250 baht per day and the scooter I rented was in good condition. Pickup and transfer to the piers was free of charge and the hosts could book you tickets if you wanted to.

Great location! Super friendly and helpful owners who meet you at the pier and drive you to their place. The same when you leave. Available water re-fills from a barrel (you don't have to buy water and produce more and more plastic waste). Great restaurants nearby, beach 10 minutes walk. But scooter is best for exploring this fantastic island (minimum traffic).
