“Not the nicest”

Was ok location wise but not the nicest of places. The dorm rooms were very cramped for the amount of people staying in them, the curtain rails were very noisy. We had a window at the head of our bed where there was a street light outside shining through straight into our faces. We had the worst nights sleeps here during our time in Thailand. The bathroom/ shower room is BOILING and so stuffy with bugs everywhere. They say no shoes allowed upstairs which would be fine if the floors were actually clean but they weren’t. There was no way I was standing in those showers barefoot it was gross. They need cleaning more regularly for the amount of people using them - overflowing bins, unclean and overflowing showers, no toilet roll.

The room was big and very comfortable. I liked that there was a place to hang wet clothes in the bathroom, this makes a huge difference in a beach trip The staff was nice and the hotel offered free water at the reception

The only good thing is that it had air conditioning.

I had a very good stay at The Chic Lipe 😊 The environment was very clean, quiet, and I always felt safe during my stay. The hotel is not located on the main walking street, which makes it peaceful and relaxing, especially at night. There is a water dispenser which is very convenient and a fridge where you can store your drinks and snacks, and fresh towels are provided every two days. The staff were pleasant and professional, they speak English (no, everyone on the island do) and overall I had a comfortable experience here. Would recommend for booths solo and group travellers looking for a calm place to stay in Koh Lipe 😊

“Comfortable stay in a great location”

Very well located, less than 10 minutes walk from the pier and a few minutes walk to sunrise beach (best on the island!). Restaurants and shops close by and walking street just a few minutes walk. Stayed in the double bed dorm with my partner, comfortable, clean with great storage. Bathroom close by and clean. A great value option for the island. Would stay again!

Location was OK. Air con always worked in the rooms. Towels were clean. Big fridge for all to use was really handy. Lots of books on the shelf to look at too.

The hostel is very cozy and comfortable,I like here so much and the staff is very friendly. Place is very near to sunrise beach and walkable.They did provide a place to hang the wet clothes!

Large curtained area with large lockable cupboard inside individual bed area. Lots of drying rails outside for washing . Huge library of books lots seating comfortable bed and lovely clean linen with doona. Lovely friendly and helpful staff. Washing machine available near drying area for 60 baht. Cheaper than outside in other shops
