Quiet, comfy place. Great service. Cleaning every day. Free taxi to beaches.

Nice bungalow in a very quiet part of the island but close to all beaches and amenities. There is a free shuttle service and pick up from the peer.

The guy was great, always around and trying to make your staying the best. I think his name is Nookie. The property it self is big and has a huge potential. Very clean and pleasant. Pictures are real.

“Lovely and familiar Bungalow Resort”

Beautiful, comfortable bungalows in a very quiet area. The bungalow has a refrigerator, perfectly working air conditioning, hot shower and a nice terrace. The resort has 5 bungalows in total and the two owner are the most friendliest and helpful people we have met. The resort has an own taxi service. They bring you anywhere on Koh Lipe for free. You can call them until 9 pm and they pick you up. They even picked us up at the pier. The breakfast was more than we could eat. They also offer a good laundry service. The most beautiful beach at Koh Lipe is the Northpoint Beach. It is a short walk through the Mountain Resort next door. We had a very pleasant and lovely stay at Plawan Bungalow Resort.

“Lovely bungalows with amazing staff”

The room was big and comfortable, spotlessly clean, but what makes this place truly wonderful are the guys that run it. Their free taxi service says they'll take you to walking street and back, but they always asked where we wanted to go and took us anywhere we needed. Often we chose to walk because the location is still only 10mins by foot from several different beaches, restaurants and shops. Breakfast was included in the price but I've never been much of one for breakfast. The guys noticed I hadn't eaten yet so super thoughtfully plated it up for me and brought it to my bungalow. So sweet! On the taxi rides they pointed out the best restaurants and shops for anything we needed and they got us to the best ticket booking office on the island to arrange our onward travel. Can't thank them enough! And to top it off, the 2 dogs and 1 cat on site were sooooo lovely and friendly!

Very comfortable and quiet bungalow near the best beach of Lipe. Breakfast is large and good, but too similar every morning. The guy who runs it will drive you to everwhere on the island, but most places it is not too far in order to walk. To reach sunset beach, just go up the garden hill, turn left at the end on the hill, step over the wall and follow the way through Montain Resort, until you see the beach.

Plawan is the little hotel of 5 bungalows in the centre of the island. Super calm, the only noise is from the next-door hotel's shuttle car, which you can hear a few times a day. A great place for those who would like some peace on the overcrowded little island The hotel manager is a kind and helpful person. He also delivers guests everywhere they want for free. He is a good cook, so if he offers you something to try for dinner (like grilled fish or massaman curry) - don't reject it, it's a memorable gastronomic experience. The room is big enough for two people and has some facilities like aircon, fridge, kettle, etc. Terrace has a pleasant garden view, just use anti-mosquito spray if you relax there

“Great place for a good price”

Location was quiet as we were away from the main resorts, but we could walk to the beach or to walking street, 15 minutes for either. Room was spacious with a nice seating area at the front, shower was hot and worked. A/C unit was quiet and working. Breakfast was good, fresh fruit was a nice touch. Had a free lift to anywhere on the island and pick up if you wanted it.

The hotel is run by a single guy who does everything and is super kind. The location is quite out of the way so it is very quiet at night and not so crowded as there are only 5-6 bungalows in total. The guy offers free pick ups and drops off to the walking street. Beach towels were provided.
