“Clean, friendly, helpful”

The owners were incredibly helpful and friendly. Lifts into town, to different beaches - and picked us up when we arrived. Good breakfast - always including delicious fruit. Rooms spacious, very good air conditioning. Nice views towards the sea - perfect, private place to sit and read outside our room. Fresh beach towels provided everday, and beach mats to borrow.

We had such an amazing stay here — honestly, everything was just perfect. From the very beginning, it felt so warm and welcoming. We were even picked up directly from the pier, which was such a nice and thoughtful touch. And having free taxi rides around the island during our stay was just incredible — it made everything so easy and relaxed. The breakfasts were absolutely unreal. Everything was so delicious that we would literally go to sleep excited for the morning just to eat again. The room was very clean, cozy, and comfortable. The view from the window was beautiful, and the air conditioning worked perfectly, which made a huge difference in the heat. But the best part of this place is definitely the people. Everyone here is so kind, friendly, and genuinely caring. It didn’t feel like staying at a hotel — it felt more like visiting someone’s home. We really didn’t want to leave. And we already know that if we ever come back, we’ll definitely stay here again. Thank you so much for such a special experience 🤍

Everything. Nice big clean room with a decent bathroom. Spotlessly clean and the family who run the place couldn’t be more helpful. About a 20 walk up from Walking St but worth it for the peace and quiet. Owners do a free shuttle run up and down to the centre of town anyway.

“Ko Lipe Stay”

Family run resort so personal attention was guaranteed. Great location in a fairly central position which suited us as it makes everywhere interesting walkable in fifteen minutes or so. If you don't want to walk a free moto taxi is available up to 9pm. Large rooms with good air con and large attached bathroom plus a sea facing balcony made this hotel very comfortable. Good breakfast included, choice of five available sets freshly prepared. Strong Wi-Fi also included. Would definitely stay here again

The owners are completely amazing! Very helpful specially with transportation. The room is big and clean. Definitely recommend it!

“Noisy and super uncomfortable place to sleep at, despite the good efforts of the owners”

Honestly, I couldn’t wait to leave this property. In the back of the building there is a machinery (water treatment? Idk) that causes superb noise in the rooms - also at sleeping time. Combined with a smell that comes from the toilet window, and the fact that the rooms don’t have windows to open… ach.. I wish it would have been different, however as a matter of fact I tried to be the minimum possible time in this place. I couldn’t rest… the hosts are helping and accommodating, but guys sorry this is not a place to have vacations at. Retrospectively I would have preferred to pay even twice the amount and be at a different place close to the beach and far from this. I hope they manage to solve the noise and the window issue in the future, so that the place can be actually used for its purpose.

It isn’t a beach front location but it was easy and cheap to get back to by tuk tuk at any time of day or night. The family owners are extra helpful, for example offering free lifts to different places. The room was very large and comfortable.

A truly good place in its price range. The location is slightly off the main area, which gives you the option to enjoy peace and quiet if you wish. The owners are always ready to give you a ride anywhere you need — the farthest point on the island is just a 15-minute walk away. This is a family-run hotel, managed and maintained by a couple. Clean white bed linens, a well-functioning air conditioner and fridge, daily high-quality cleaning, a decent breakfast, reliable Wi-Fi, currency exchange — the hosts really put in the effort and do their best to make your stay comfortable. The only suggestion for improvement would be to add a coffee machine that makes cappuccinos and perhaps include a few fresh vegetables like cucumber or tomato with breakfast for a touch of freshness. Wishing the couple prosperity and many happy years together!

We had a clean and comfortable one night stay. All rooms have a great view down to the sea. Lovely owners who will take you anywhere you need to go. Breakfast was made to order and plentiful.

We enjoyed our stay at Plaloma, the ocean view was nice, the bed comfortable and everything was clean. We would happily stay again.
