Great value for money, really lovely staff and the location was perfect. One of the best sunset beaches I have ever seen and so quiet. After one week there I am so relaxed I can’t even imagine a European winter

We loved the tranquility of the location. The grounds are well maintained. The room was a generous size. Sunsets on the porch were lovely. Air con very affective.

Tourism very low on Libong at the moment, so understandably not a lot of money coming in to keep the place running so not as flash and clean as other places which charge much more but it was also a fraction of the price. An excellent choice for the budget conscious with kind and helpful staff and management.

Great location, lovely people. The staff are absolutely wonderful. The property is dated and needs maintenance but we had a fantastic time here mostly because the staff we so welcoming and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble

Low PRICE-PERFORMANCE ratio, friendly, in room very low Wifi, location directly at the beach, nearly no infrastructure around hotel, the beach was not suitable for swimming as the water level is very low.

“Our own private paradise”

If you're after peace, privacy, tranquility, nature, friendly fishermen and villagers, local food, almost zero tourists and your own private paradise.... Koh Libong is the place! There are only 4 resorts on the island. The other 3 look good but feel like resorts, with lots of bungalows in a row, restaurant menu that sells everything under the sun (how can you trust that?!) and impersonal staff. Fine for a sandy beach visit but less good to live in for a week. Garden Beach feels like home. We could have moved in to live here full time with the owner, her friends, and Yen-Tah the friendliest barman you'll ever meet. Home-cooked meals were exceptional. Bungalows are well maintained and the owner puts a great level of pride & care into maintaining the gardens and space. We fished, kayaked for free, bathed, hung our own hammocks (although there are loads of places to chill already set up), made campfires on the beach and our room was a palace... Garden Beach was bliss. Highly recommended. Koh Libong is incredible. I hope more people venture off the tourist trap path to support Libong's small and special local economy.

Beautiful bungalow at the beach! The staff was so friendly and nice! Breakfast was very tasty. There is a cosy little bar on the beach to drink and watch the sunset. Very nice owner plays the guitar and sings very beautifully! It’s a perfect place to relax! Thank you for our wonderful stay. Only swimming is better when there is high tide.
