“Beautiful and peaceful stay with Canale Boutique”

Beautiful traditional house on the water, in a quiet fishing village with limited tourists. Sit with a coffee, watch the fish in the water and completely unwind. Friendly and helpful hosts with lovely breakfast. It was also located near the waterfalls and a very nice Japanese restaurant up the road, so a convenient spot for a couple of days to explore the north of the island

The owners were very nice people and the breakfast was very good. There is a bike available to rent. The location was nice. The coffee shop next door is a must visit and gives a same experience as actually staying at the boutique

Very Kind Hosts and the Room was very cosy. The Host also gave us an elegant bag as present because we wanted to buy it. Fantastic breakfast and help also to get a table in the restaurant of the Shaanth Hotel. We stayed one night an enjoyed it very much.

“A perfect place for a few days to slow down, experience village life and eat fresh fish”

We loved the small details all around the property - the bedding felt luxurious and was changed daily even though we only stayed for 2 nights! The location was perfect, close to a beach but also right in the middle of the fishing village, right next door there is a local bbq with freshly caught fish. We also loved the breakfast, you really felt the hosts love and care in everything they did. The cold arrival tea was an extra special touch. We thought the fridge with water for guests was very generous and you could put your own beer in there.

It’s a hidden gem, felt like home not only in the property, but also in the whole community. Great coffee and home-like food just next door, great beach a hundred meters away. Plus, Reiner and his wife are fantastic hosts.

Very friendly couple Running the place. They have their own scooter for Rent for 300 bath/day. Breakfasts prepared with Loving Care. The village is very quiet. If you're looking for peace and quiet, it is perfect tot stay there. Something completely different from many other places.

We stayed right on the canal—literally on the water—which gave the whole place a wonderfully bohemian charm. The room was lovely and comfortable. The hosts were extremely friendly and always helpful, and the breakfasts had a warm, personal touch that made each morning special. There’s even a fantastic hidden coffee spot right next door.

I had a wonderful stay and can highly recommend this accommodation to everyone. Everything was perfect, and it truly is a special place.

if I could rate this place 110% I would This little gem of a place is the ultimate stay in Koh Kood , if you're seeking an authentic Thai experience. Not only is this little place awesome in everyway , it's situated in a little village that is so picturesque and a beautiful local community spirit . I was sad to leave and will miss the yummy fresh coffee 😁 The owners are brilliant , made us feel super welcome Breakfast was a delight, the best cheese and ham omelette I've ever had 😋

“Best Homestay on Koh Kood”

The sweetest house in the fishing village, with beautiful plants growing in pots upon arrival and a open living space where you could watch life go by. Bedrooms were lovely

“Fantastic. Sign Me Up for another week”

Hosts have renovated Guesthouse from literally ground (river bed up). They have made a fantastic job using a lot of reclaimed materials. They live with their relations all around. Place has wonderful character. and the location is great. Located in small fishing village towards the back of the port. The port is very small and luckily where the speed boat to the mainland or Ko Mak or Ko Chang arrives or leaves. So when jump of the boat you just need to walk up the paths. Wonderful sunsets out to sea at the end of the Pier. We had queen room at the back and it was more than enough for 2. Spacious, comfy bed, great Shower, adequate storage good A/C. We had no issue with Mozies, no bites at night but we had plug in repellant. It small port so there is activity in the morning with boats but for. us that was part of the character. Communual area at teh from is nice. Lots of seating and a great place to watch a thunderstorm roll through or watch fish or bird life. We rented a 125 scooter from owner which was great for exploring, which you can park at side of teh guest house. A car you need to park in near by Car park 200-300m. No cars. can access the houses in the port due to width of elevated walkways above tidal water. Owners helped with organising our transport back to Bangkok. Speed Boat from the end of the Pier back to mainland and then taxi to Bangkok. Super easy in thw end and given the time and distance. It was 5000THB including ferry and private Taxi (SUV) . Takes about 6-7Hrs from Guest house to downtown Bangkok.depending on traffic, weather and Speed Boat Time tables. Great Breakfast, Great Coffee. Loved it.

“Idylic, hidden gem”

Everything was superb, the couple who run this place are so kind & friendly. Fresh breakfast every morning was delicious. Beautiful setting in the fisherman’s village. Beautiful beach just minutes away with amazing sunsets at night. Very peaceful area, with some great restaurants close by.

Realy nice and friendly owners them make fress breakfast ever morning . Room is old style . Looks nice . Bed little bit hard but that is normal in thailand . Can rent scooter from the owner 300bath 1 day . If more days 250bath a day . Thanks for the great stay .
