Beautiful property with lovely beach side facilities, away from the tourist hordes and hotspots. Need to rent a motorbike.. but easily done from the resort (400 BHT) or a business immediately opposite (300 BHT) .. and this is needed to properly explore Koh Kood anyway. Scrumptious buffet breakfast with gorgeous happy attentive staff! Room was lovely, but we didn't like the outdoor shower as the door let mozzies in!

We had a great stay at Rest Sea Resort. The room was very clean and comfortable. The shower was amazing. Having our own private pool was a real treat. The beach was beautiful with kayaks and snorkels to use for free. Beach bar next door and a delicious bbq restaurant opposite. We would highly recommend for anyone seeking a luxurious stay in the south of koh kood.

“Nice and comfortable stay”

The rooms are super nice and clean, well equipped and quiet. The beach is the most beautiful beach on Koh Kood and you can watch the sunset from the wooden pier close to the hotel. We got an upgrade for free to a canopy pool villa as it was our honeymoon trip :) Scooters can be rented easily to explore the island.

Beautiful secluded resort on the beach with its own pool which stayed open until 10pm The villas were great size with your own garden and free mini bar.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, the reception team made us feel incredibly welcome with a perfect, seamless check-in. You can really tell they care about their guests; the hospitality is top-notch. A special shout-out to Nick and the entire restaurant team. The service and the atmosphere at the restaurant were simply wonderful. It’s rare to find a team that is so attentive and professional while making you feel so comfortable and relaxed. This is a beautiful hotel where you genuinely feel good. Thank you to everyone for making our trip so special. We can’t wait to come back!

Upon check-in, you get a very good welcome drink and even an ice cream. Every day there are snacks and drinks provided for the minibar. If you’re asleep when they deliver them, they leave a small bag in front of your door. The pool and beach area are beautifully decorated and nicely lit in the evening. Overall, it was a lovely stay in a beautiful hotel with many nice details. The points I mentioned are just small personal impressions and don’t change the fact that the hotel offers a great experience. For me personally, however, I wouldn’t necessarily return — but I can easily recommend it to others.

Overall, the experience was positive, but there are a couple of important points to note. Firstly, the new rooms are beautifully designed, but they could benefit from more attention to detail. In the room, there were four hooks and two coat racks, but unfortunately, there is no clothing rack, closet, or shelves available for storage. I requested extra coat racks, which were provided promptly; however, there was nowhere to attach them. This seems to be a significant oversight in the design of these newly built rooms. Additionally, the lack of proper ventilation in the new rooms causes it to become humid quickly, leading to an unpleasant smell. Secondly, while I understand the hotel allows external guests access to the facilities via the public beach, it feels disproportionate compared to the room prices. External guests can even enjoy the pool area, if they purchase just one drink, which leads to a shortage of loungers—there are only 6 (!!!) available around the pool, and none come with parasols for shade. On the beach, there are some (almost empty) "leather" bean bags and sit-up chairs with thick cushions, which are not very comfortable on a hot sunny day. The visitor policy could use some reevaluation, as it detracts from the overall experience for the paying hotelguests! Despite these concerns, the hotel has many positives, such as the friendly service, room decor, and most beautiful surroundings. If the management addresses these issues, this could easily be a top-notch destination.
