Lovely little bungalows. A very short walk from the restaurants and Huggy Beach but it still had the quiet peaceful vibe as it was down a road away from traffic. The staff were fantastic, very helpful and friendly 😍 We would love to return

I loved my stay at the Pink Kangaroo located in the midst of nature in a beautiful bungalow with all the necessary comfort. I enjoyed the breakfast time with delicious coconut pancakes, granola or eggs. Huggy beach is at a walking distance (15-20 min), literally the best spot for snorkeling and amazing sunsets! I finally had the pleasure to meet the former landlord and his lovely wife.

Chanya was amazing during our stay, cooking good value breakfast, providing scooter, doing laundry, organising a taxi for checkout. Delicious welcome drink on arrival. Lek lek(small small) is their very cute guard dog that sits on the terrace with you. Good sized bungalow with AC, small equipped kitchen area and good sized fridge. Large private terrace in front of the bungalow with morning sun. Bungalow set in the jungle and peaceful when the dogs aren’t barking

“Relaxing on Koh Kood”

We had a great stay of 6 nights. The bungalow was nice and clean, we had a fridge, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. Surroundings were calm and green, not too far from the beach. Sweet cat and dog included. Dick and Wan are really kind and helpful people, if you need to rent a scooter, book boat tickets, etc., they are happy to assist. Would stay here again! :)

“Perfect stay”

Had the best stay here :) The owners Dick and Wan are so lovely and make you feel at home. The place itself was also perfect. Had everything you need (incl microwave, utensils etc) and had a really nice patio that backs onto the river and jungle. It was a super pretty view and very peaceful and private. The location was great for me too. Walking distance to nearby shops and restaurants and also the nearby beaches which were really nice and peaceful.

A big thank you to Wan and Dick for creating such a special place. We had a lovely stay and would happily return should it work out that way.

By far our best stay in the whole of Thailand! Dick and Wan went out of their to ensure we had the best stay ever. Their hospitality was unmatched. From arriving and being treated to passionfruit mock-tail from Wan, to their help booking ferries, hiring a bike not to mention how friendly they both are, it really did feel like a piece of home away from home. Tucked away from the hectic resorts of main strip Koh Kood, immersed in what felt like a slice of our own personal jungle, yet so close to great spots to eat, waterfalls and best of all, jaw-dropping beaches. The rooms/bungalows were spacious (with a kitchen), spotlessly clean, and very homely. I cannot stress enough, if you plan on visiting Koh Kood you have to stay at Dick and Wan’s Pink Kangaroo, it was nothing short of perfect!

Wan and Dick are quite hospitable. They treated us very well. From the welcome drinks of homemade and natural passionfruit drink, to teaching us to drive a motorbike, and to cooking the fish that we caught. Num num the dog and Dum Dum the cat were a delight. Cheap but wonderful stay on a very beautiful island of Koh Kood.

We stayed here for 4 nights and it was awesome! Dick and Wan are welcoming and very nice couple! We enjoyed our little bungalow in jungle, it had everything we needed and as a bonus lovely pets they have! I highly recommend to rent a bike from them and they will also take care of any transfers and ferries if you need. 11/10! :)

Highly recommend!! Dick and Wan were always ready to help with anything I needed. Wan even taught me how to ride a scooter. In a beautiful, quiet area, with a lovely little cafe, and an easy 10 minute walk to beaches, shops and restaurants. The accommodation is simple, clean and has everything you need. Loved my stay.
