Great place, friendly and helpful staff and most of all it is set up in a way that it trully facilitates the backpacker's experience! I enjoyed that it was further away from the crowded area, which means you will need your own bike if you are to visit he central area of the island

Lovely place, close to a nice beach with snorkeling possibilities. The rooms were simple but nice, the owners lovely and helpful.

very close to the beach and a few good restaurants in walking distance. you could also rent a scooter if you want to go further away. one of the cheapest hostels when i booked koh kood👍🏼. also the people working there were very kind and helpful :)

Koh Kood seems very expensive in general, but this place has reasonable prices, location is very nice (close to a very good beach, multiple restaurants nearby). The staff is very helpful and understanding, would stay again.

“Great location and value”

The owners clearly work very hard to help guests with their stay and ongoing travel. If you needed anything, they would help you. The location is great, close to a beach and restaurants and bars- a good choice if you can’t ride a scooter. The price is also very good for what is a generally expensive island. The beds have electrical outlets and a lamp next to them. Tasty, home cooked food available in the restaurant at great prices. You can book everything you need at the hostel: onward travel, excursions, bikes etc

Very good value for Money! Very friendly Hosts Chris and Cherry! Rented Scooter from Host. Had good and very quiet sleep - usually people who choose this Island and sort of place hopefully want the same thing - Nature and Peace. We appreciated the good relaxed vibes of the place and the relaxed and laid down atmosphere. Chris and Cherry are busy running the place (from Check in / Check Out / handling requests - both online and offline / etc.) and it's great the so because would they hire more staff obviously the price would have to go up. We think Chor Chaba ist a great well run Hostel on a beautiful Island. Hotel Resorts are in the Island too, if you decide you want Hotel Resort feeling and have '24h'-service with many staff. Staying at Chor Chaba turned out to be cool and perfect for us.

Sherry and Chris and all the other workers looked after me as if I was apart of the family. Very thoughtful and helped me book a direct transfer to Bangkok The room was clean, showers worked with good pressure and nice outdoor seating

The location. Go out your door, walk 2 minutes and you are on the most gorgeous white sand beach. Amazing snorkelling, loads of fish and corals. This was my first time ever in a dorm room and I wasn't too sure about going there. However, I wouldn't hesitate to do it again.

The Host was really amazing and understanding.

Honestly, the only good thing about this property is that its located near a beautiful beach. But so too are many others, the island of Koh Kood is quite small. Do yourself a favour and spend the extra dollar on better accommodation, your experience will thank you for it
