“Secret paradise hideout on Koh Chang”

It was an amazing stay, the location was just perfect for a calm and relaxing stay, it’s secluded from the full of life parts of the island, but not too far from it. Bang Bao had it all from 24/7 supermarket to fish markets & souvenirs. The hosts were amazing shows us around, guided us where to go and what we could do, and helped arrange any activities outside of the island. Special thanks to the man, the myth, the legend Berk, he made sure that we feel like home even if we were half a globe from it. And one more thing don’t miss on the kebabs there, amazing and nutritious.

The best location in the island, quiet and comfy own beach, cute animal friends and friendly hosts :) Clean and spacious bungalow. Walkable distance from restaurants and services.

Really well thought out bungalows that are comfortable and spotlessly clean. Fully enclosed. A little fridge in the room also. Berk and co make sure you have everything you need. Really comfortable bed. Location is gorgeous. There is a restaurant on site. It's a ten minute walk to Bang Bao. There are a few little restaurants closer by. We loved our stay here and were sad to leave.

“A hidden gem. The most relaxing spot”

Super peaceful place. The perfect spot to just relax. Beachfront property, with sun beds to enjoy, they also have a restaurant on site. Berk and his family are absolutely amazing. Berk has and still is helping us with many things (booking tours, transfers, scooter rental). We originally booked for a week, but found it so peaceful that we decided to extend a further week. The rooms are comfortable too. Everything you need. It is away from any chaos that I read you can find near other places. Just peace. For those who may not have a rental car or scooter, they may find it far from other places/beaches. That said, there are many restaurants in the area within walking distance as well one at the accommodation itself run by the family. Would definitely recommend it! A hidden gem.

Berk and his family were great. Always around for a chat or if you needed any information about trips, motorbike hire and forward travel. Would definitely stay here again.

“Disaster stay, misleading room descriptions, do not trust the "Sea View" promise, dishonest manager”

The rooms were clean, but everything else was a disaster. I have been travelling to Thailand for 30 years and have travelled to over 100 countries. The management of the Secret Garden Family House are dishonest, deceptive, and unprofessional. Expect to be lied to.

The location is pure bliss, the bungalow was extremely clean, the bathroom was exceptional, everything looks new. The host is extremely helpful and nice, they anticipate your needs and always jump to the rescue. Wifi was good, it was nice and quiet.

Berk and his mum were warm, kind, professional and generous with their time. They made me feel welcomed and safe as a female travelling alone which was wonderdul. The apartment was fine for what I needed and the location was spectacular. Koh Chang was beaufiful and there is everything you need locally, even a place to hire mopeds. Would hugely recommended, loved my stay here ❤️❤️
