Super clean and relaxing environment. The hammock at patio is just awesome, and Mike is just a really kind host and fun to talk to. The easy breakfast menu offers good selection. Close to mini market and restaurants.

Mike and the ladies working there are so welcoming and helped with scooter rent and a perfect diving day with the scuba squad. It’s such a peaceful place with lovely garden and lying in hammock on pordge is perfect. The best breakfast and good coffee at any time in morning. Such good service and safe place walking distance to beach, tip go to Lisca, the food and service and beach is great. Don’t hesitate, GO TO lucky gekko. From there to south is also very nice to explore and visit. Enjoy!!

“Fantastic find in a quiet area”

Absolutely delightful place to stay! Rooms are large and clean with a great veranda to relax on. Very quiet place to stay, but there’s great restaurants, motorbike hire, massage etc on the doorstep. Mike the owner and the lovely ladies who look after the place are the nicest people you could hope to meet, adding to the relaxed vibe. Great breakfast and good coffee, which we ate on our balcony each day. We stayed here for a week and we would happily return again.

Mike and the Girls were great, they gave us a warm welcome and great service. The bungalow has everything you need, very cleen! The place Baylan is small, with nice people and there are a few good restaurants. There is a small beach, and within 5 minuten there are other beaches. Defenitly a recommend to stay!!

What a charming place! It's clear that the owner (super nice guy btw) puts a lot of heart to make it something special. We've only had a single night there but would gladly stay for longer in this beautiful garden, relaxing in a hammock on the porch. Also there's a lot of mini marts and cool restaurants very close by. Definitely check out J&K restaurant when you're there!

“Perfect stay”

Absolutely well maintained cottages in a super quiet location : the garden all around is lush and well kept , you ll see a lot of care about every detail here. Bungalows are airy , bright, mosquito nets at the sliding entrance door and window , big bathrooms, comfortable bed. Everyone is clean . The owner is very friendly , he took his time to explain all the details and to give suggestions for all around even we were staying for a night . Breakfast is served on the terraces and is very satisfying. Price/ quality 10 out of 10.

The gecko is not the only one who is lucky. When staying here, you can count yourself in. A few bungalows standing in a beautiful green garden on a quiet and nice part of the island. Very good breakfast is served on your terrace, you can chill in the hammock or drink a beer with Mike who is a great host and makes you feel at home. The bungalows are fully equipped with a kingsize bed, fridge, safe, aircon and fan, big bathroom. Cleaned every day. Bailanbeach is within two minutes walk, Lonely Beach is a five minutes drive (taxi or scooter). Bailan has a small number of good restaurants where you can have lunch or dinner. Lucky Gecko Garden is definitely the place to be if you're looking for a laidback atmosphere.

Fine magic place! Nice beatiuful garden. Very friendy staff. The hotel owner Mike is wonderful person - he makes to feel myself like I came to visit my old friend. The room was comfortable and clean with comfortable bed. And despite the hot season the price was very good. Expect to come back sometime)

Breakfast was made as soon as requested. The place is tranquil; and as for the owner: the guy just could not do enough to help with anything I asked !

Large, clean, and good value bungalows in a quiet setting, very close to Bailan beach and the local shops and restaurants. Very friendly staff, tasty fresh breakfasts with great cappuccino.
