From the moment we arrived, Steve and Roeleen welcomed us with such genuine warmth that we instantly felt at home. Their kindness, attention to detail, and willingness to go the extra mile made all the difference - It wasn’t just the beautiful setting that made our stay memorable. Look nowhere else! Definitely recommendable!! It’s also just a 5 minute drive from the Knysna waterfront.

What an ideal place to stay in Knysna. Not only a lovely house with great hospitality but Steve is very knowledgeable about local history etc. so you can easily get some tips on where to visit on a short stay in Knysna. Standards for guest house accommodation in SA are very high, certainly much higher than in UK. Here at Westhill we received a welcome alcoholic drink - unheard of in UK! As usual fully secure parking, spacious room and very nice bfast (Thanks for the taste of the Boerwoers, Steve!). Knysna itself is a nice little place with plenty of eateries and places to visit within easy reach so you could easily spend a few days here. Very of the lagoon from Westhill and the Heads (more history).

Fabulous property, fabulous hosts. View from huge, very comfortable room was wonderful. The scrambled eggs at breakfast were perfect! Only a short drive from waterfront, or easily walkable. Would not hesitate to recommend.

It‘s close to perfect. The room was spacious, well equipped and clean, the beds comfortable, the balcony offered a breathtaking view. Stephen and Roleen always present and helpful, what more can you expect?

A great little place to stay for a two night exploration of Knysna. Our hosts were exceptional. They welcomed us like long lost friends, and their tips for seeing the area and eating out were great. The place was immaculate and extremely comfortable.

Clean and space and near centre. Good breakfast, nice welcome! Nice people, good information.

Friendly property which is immaculately kept. Easy walk into town with uber back at night for no more than £2. Hosts are really friendly and super helpful with recommendations for restaurants and activities. They made all our reservations for us and had maps etc to make sure we got full benefit of our time in knysna

“Wonderful place to stay in Knysna”

Great place to stay and would definitely go back. Everything you wanted in a b&b was there. Steve and Roeleen were fantastic. They gave us lots of ideas of places to go and restaurants to try - all really good. (BTW Steve, we got to see the caves at Pinnacle Point 😊) They also booked restaurants etc for us. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. From the welcome we received and throughout our 4 day stay, all was perfect. Our room also had the most fantastic view. Also you can walk down the hill to town and then easily get an Uber back up.
