Villa Afrikana Guest Suites by Knysna Paradise Collection feature a blend of African and contemporary décor. All rooms have deluxe bedding which include feather and down duvets. “Great place to be, with an amazing team”
The staff is amazing, the location is great, you feel like at home from the first minute on. They made it to positively surprise us every day, be it the great breakfast, the 16:00 tea, the lovely room or simply the warm welcome when coming home… there are many little details to mention, best is to go there and to discover it. Simply stunning. Exceptional property, caring, friendly staff, wonderful facilities, super room and balcony with amazing views. Relaxed environment and a great recommendation for dinner too. Breakfast on the balcony was amazing, high quality, wide choice. Probably one of the best places I have ever stayed. A totally fantastic stay and I wish we could have stayed longer, we will certainly be back. Can’t recommend it enough.

Truly amazing place! All the staff and owners are incredible. The breakfast is so good and so much of it! Afternoon tea is a nice touch with cakes. Also happy hour drinks are a lovely way to start off the evening. Rooms were perfect! Couldn't fault them. Bathrooms were huge! Great views over the bay and location is perfect to explore Knysna and the garden route! Will 100% stay again and recommend!

“The best!”
We stayed at Villa Afrikana Guest Suites for two nights to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary in December 2025. Beauty, Lovemore and Tracy were there to greet us when we arrived. The accommodation was ideally located close to the Waterfront and our room was absolutely stunning with fantastic views of the estuary. The afternoon teas were a welcome treat although not good for the waistline! All the staff were so friendly and helped to make our stay so special giving recommendations on where to eat. Our best meal of the whole trip was at 34 South on the Waterfront. We wish we could have stayed longer and will definitely return some time in the future.

No words can express how wonderful our stay was at the Villa Afrikana. The room overlooked the spectacular view over Knysna Lagoon. The staff were amazing and catered for our every whim. We had breakfast served on our balcony one morning and it was unbelievable. I cannot rate this place high enough. It was truly magical.

“Perfect stay”
From the moment we arrived until we left, the service was perfect - hospitable, friendly, lots of little things and nothing was too much trouble. Very professional. The accommodation felt like new and was clean and comfortable, a spacious room with an amazing view. I liked all the tasteful artwork. The breakfast was plentiful and we liked the card giving options so that you could self select your breakfast.
