Overview
Located in a cottage-style house directly on the edge the Knysna Lagoon, TwoAngels offers a variety of uniquely designed self-catering accommodation with panoramic views. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout. The individual design of the rooms is bright and includes features such as exposed beamed ceilings and frescoes. They all come equipped with a flat-screen TV and a DVD player and they have a private bathroom. Each of the apartments and suites has its own kitchen. Guests can also dine in nearby cafes and restaurants, only a 5 minute drive away. Free public parking is available close to TwoAngels and local attractions include Harkeville Forest, 10 km away, and the Elephant Park, 20 km away. George Airport is a 60-minute drive away.

“The cottage at Two Angels is a little bit of paradise.”
The accommodation was very clean and the interior quirky, which made it feel unique. To have our own private balcony with views directly over the lagoon was very special. A great location too, at the East Head.

“Charming apartment by the waters edge”
I loved the view, the old world atmosphere of the apartment and the garden and all the authentic touches. Conveniently situated on the waterfront with free kayaks. Lovely private outdoor seating and a real workable kitchen.

“Little corner of heaven”
What an amazing spot. We had plans to go out for dinner and ordered in instead because we did not want to leave. Quick walk down to the lagoon where we could kayak and wander on the beach. HUGE shower, well kitted kitchen. We will definitely be back.

The location is genuinely stunning, but due to a problem with the room that we booked we were given a different room (without any explanation until the following day). There was a lot of space but the kitchen was well away from the room with was a bit of a pain. There is easy access to the nearest coffee shop and Italian restaurant and the main town is only a few minutes drive away.

We loved the incredible location and views of 2 Angels and our studio apartment was perfect with the kitchenette well equipped and the room very comfortable. Would highly recommend and I’m sure we’ll be back!

“An absolute gem”
We loved our stay in Robert’s beautiful house with its gorgeous gardens and wonderful staff, particularly Florence and Perseverance. We were right on the water with a remarkable view across to Featherbed Bay and Leisure Isle. So restful to have sundowners and watch the moon rise over the lagoon, then enjoy a barbecue on the pretty lawn before dropping off to the sounds of the water. Two Angels has a gate that opens directly into the sand to take advantage of the lagoon in all its moods or walk across at low tide to the island. Thank you to Robert, Florence and Perseverance for your gracious assistance. This is a hidden gem. Not a problem for us but just be aware the steps down from the road are steep but staff will help with your bags if you need assistance. The East Head cafe within walking distance has excellent coffee and breakfasts, with views over the Heads. And like other East Heads properties down on the water, Two Angels is happily sheltered from any wind.

Our stay was nothing short of outstanding! This luxury guest house, situated right at the edge of a crystal-clear lagoon, offers stunning views and a homely atmosphere that beautifully blends the charm of a luxury Italian villa with the timeless romance of a French vintage home. The interiors exude soft elegance, adorned with French antiques, vintage armoires, and ornate mirrors. The garden is absolutely breathtaking, featuring a harmonious blend of vibrant plants, colorful flowers, and thoughtfully designed spaces that create a serene, inviting atmosphere. The rooms were impeccably clean, the beds exceptionally comfortable, and our terrace, with a sunbed overlooking the lagoon, was the perfect spot for afternoon naps. Robert and his team were gracious, friendly, and incredibly helpful, making every moment feel special. This is the kind of place where beauty is found in every detail. Highly recommend—it’s definitely worth a visit!

“A piece of paradise”
The view, the peace, perfect location. Lover’s Nest cottage was the perfect place for a few days relaxing, we didn’t want to leave.
