Overview
Perched high above the village, Paradise Private Zen Studios offer studio accommodation with views of either the garden, lagoon, town and the famous Knysna Heads. Free WiFi is available. The studios are fitted with a satellite TV and a kitchenette with fridge, kettle, induction plate, crockery cutlery. Toiletries, bathrobes and a hair dryer are available. There is complimentary yoghurt, muesli, fruit juice, coffee, tea, milk, sugar filtered water. Guests can relax on the furnished deck offering lagoon views and barbecue evenings can be arranged in the boma. If you would like to discover the area, cycling, canoeing and hiking are possible in the surroundings. The Knysna Waterfront can be reached within 5 minutes' drive.

“A stay that will live forever in our memories”
We had a fantastic stay with Ellie and Francois in their beautiful and iconic home in the Tidal suite. The views are absolutely stunning, but so too is the care, thought, and attention that has gone into creating such a magical retreat. Their story is a powerful reminder of what can be achieved through determination and resilience in the face of devastating tragedy and the forces of nature. Every detail of the home reflects heart, courage, and vision. The thoughtful gestures of wine, chocolates, and handmade soaps, may seem small to some, but they send a meaningful message to guests: you are being welcomed not simply into accommodation, but into a home, as friends. We truly hope to return one day and stay for longer.

- The view from the room is stunning! - The hosts are superfriendly and have amazing tips - Located in a very calm area & only 3min away from Waterfront by car - Nice pool with comfortable area to sit outside as well - Looks even better than on pictures - Big appartement with a lot of storage space for clothes, suitcases & super well equipped + nice decorations - Parking secure behind a gate - Welcome gift with a bottle of wine & some rusks

“High on the hill in Knysna.”
Fantastic views over the lagoon from our apartment. Could sit out on the balcony or lie on the bed to see the sun rise & set without being overlooked by anyone else. Comfortably furnished & very clean. Francois greeted us & checked us in & we met Ellie a little later. Both very friendly.

It was an incredible experience from the minute we walked in. Ellie and Francois are such lovely people and made us feel right at home. I’ve never been to any place that was so well thought out, whenever you think of something you need it’s there. It’s neat and clean and the VIEWS are incredible. The pool was so refreshing and although the place was fully booked it felt private and I didn’t even see anyone else. It was quiet and peaceful. I would love to go back in winter as it will be a different experience but cozy and using the sauna in the “little forest” would be awesome.

“Beautiful accomodation with a view”
The studio and the view were really beautiful. We enjoyed our stay in Knysna a lot. The Wi-Fi connection didn’t work in our studio at first, but it was fixed after two days. Please note that the sauna can only be used at specific times and upon request – and it comes with significant extra charges. This wasn’t clearly mentioned on Booking.com. Still, we really liked this special place and would definitely recommend it and stay here again.
