Overview
Perched on the hillside in historic Knysna with and Knysna Lagoon views, this lodge features a furnished terrace and a garden with Braai facilities. The accommodation at Lagoon lodge has a shared seating area on the main balcony and garden area. Each room has a satellite TV, mini fridge and a private bathroom. Some rooms have a balcony with garden and lagoon views. A 3 course breakfast is served daily in the dining room or outside on the main balcony overlooking the lagoon. Several restaurants and bars are situated along the Knysna Marina, a 5-minute drive away. Guests can make use of the Braai/BBQ facilities in the garden. Indoors, Lagoon Lodge has a seating area decorated with wooden furnishings, paintings, plants and vintage-style lounges. Plettenberg Bay and Robberg Nature Reserve are a 40-minute drive away by car. Knysna Railway Station is a 20-minute walk away.

Fantastic location, very easy access to the parking area. Nice comfortable room with all things you need. Very nice and helpful host with lots of ideas, we had very useful. Altogether, perfect beautiful two nights, possible to come back.

They were kind enough to change our room as I really couldn't manage any stairs. The breakfast was great and the room and bathroom are spacious. Lovely to stay in. Definitely a must!

The hotel is located in a peaceful area with a beautiful view of the estuary and is not close to the Waterfront, though if you have a car this won’t be a problem. Uber is also easy to find there. Breakfast is delicious, and I highly recommend the "world-famous inn omelets." Mr. Appel is not only very attentive but also extremely charismatic. We highly recommend it.

“Great value for money”
For the price this was just what I needed for a 1 night stay, Had a nice view of the bay from the balcony outside my room. Breakfast was good and they did not want you to go away hungry.
