This beautiful Cape Colonial guesthouse is located just off the the main road of Knysna and offers stunning views of the picturesque Knysna Lagoon and the well-known Knysna Heads. Hide-Away Guest House will be your home away from home and is only a 15-minute walk to the town centre and the bustling Knysna Waterfront. Hide-Away Guest House is the ideal place to simply relax or from which to explore the many sights of Knysna and the scenic Garden Route. For the more energetic, a mini gym is also available on site. Your South African hosts, Cecil and Colleen Harding, own and manage Hide-Away and will ensure that you have a memorable stay in this remarkable piece of paradise in the Western Cape.

“Nice and convenient Guest House for a few days in Knysna”
Newly renovated Guest House. We had a big room to the backside with a nice and large bathroom and a private veranda. Everything was well equipped. The closet smelled a little bit like detergent. The location has nice views to the Lagoon and is within walking distance to the city of Knysna and Waterfront. It ist close to the N2, but the noise of the road didn‘t bother us. Coleen and Cecil are nice hosts who gave us a lot of good informations. We could park our car on the premises.

“We loved everything about Hide-Away Guest House.”
Absolutely everything! We stayed in the self-catering unit which was beautifully designed, spacious and comfortable. Fully equipped kitchen with high end appliances. Another highlight was the warm reception and care from our hosts who were happy to share their local knowledge and recommendations from places to visit, restaurants and local shopping. There is so much to do around this area and some hidden gems. We will definitely return and recommend Hide Away Guest House to friends and family.

Amazing staff very friendly and welcoming. Solo traveled to knysna and I felt so safe staying here as a 21 year old female would 100% recommend I'm definitely visiting again. Beautiful view and breakfast was amazing.

“Unforgettable Lagoon View”
The guesthouse is elegant and well maintained, in a wonderful location close to the lagoon. Our room was spacious, spotless, and offered a stunning view of the lagoon, waking up to that was a real pleasure. Breakfast was excellent, carefully prepared and varied. The welcome was warm and attentive, and we immediately felt at home.
