Location was outstanding; jacuzzi was the best feature of the property.

Sensational. Done a lot of touring around the Western Cape and this was the pick of the lot. Brilliant location and incredibly peaceful.

We had a fantastic stay at Forest Valley Cottages. Mark was a very friendly and welcoming host who made us feel immediately at home. The cottage was wonderful and very private, offering everything we needed for a comfortable self-catering stay. We especially loved the jacuzzi and the unique hanging deck with cushions, which was the perfect place to relax and watch the stars at night. The views over the valley were simply priceless and the peaceful surroundings made it a truly special place. We also enjoyed a beautiful nature walk nearby, adding to the overall experience.

We loved our stay at Forest Valley cottages. Check in was seamless, property was spotless, the views are sensational, the bath on our balcony!!wow! Knysna is a short trip down the road and Mark/Marsh are great hosts with plenty of ideas for things to do in the surrounding area.

Has the most gorgeous views imaginable. The cottage is so cute but very modern at the same time and includes all the amenities one would need.

Perfect get away from it all. Private, secluded jacuzzi with the most amazing views. Cottages were very comfortable, views from every room and very well equipped. We were looked after very well. Location was great for popping into Knysna and surrounding area.

The service was excellent and the staff and owner are extremely nice. It is a beautiful place with an absolute breathtaking view of the mountains. We enjoyed our stay so much. Room service is exceptional. This place is a must see.

We had the most wonderful stay at Forest Valley Cottages. The cabin was cozy and welcoming, with everything we could need. Fresh jasmine was beautifully placed around the space, a complimentary bottle of wine was waiting for us, and plenty of wood was provided for the fire. The jacuzzi was already warm when we arrived, which was perfect for the chilly days in the forest. The quiet, the nature, and the thoughtful touches made the whole experience unforgettable. I would go back in a heartbeat.

We absolutely loved our stay at the cottage. It was incredibly peaceful and quiet — the perfect place to relax and switch off. The accommodation is so well considered, with everything thoughtfully laid out and comfortable. We felt at home straight away and didn’t want to leave. We would definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a tranquil getaway.
