A very well run boutique hotel

“Lovely place to stay, run by lovely family, so helpful.”

Lovely place to stay. Such attention to detail, like warming your coffee cups in the morning, for breakfast ( which was absolutely lovely as we sat on the terrace overlooking the beautiful garden and the turn down service with chocs in the evening. We ate in the restaurant and it was truly the best chateaubriand we’ve tasted. Outstanding stay.

Lovely hotel and staff. Made us feel really at home. Gorgeous interiors and lush tropical garden and swimming pool. The host was just fab and was really attentive and helpful. She booked us a restaurant and helped recommend local sites to visit. Also the dinner and breakfast were exceptional. Would like to return for sure

The views from Falcons View Manor are amazing, the gardens and swimming pool are beautiful, our room was large and airy with a super comfortable bed and last but not least the staff here couldn’t do anymore to make our stay one of the best we’ve ever had, a special thanks to Sue who helped with restaurant bookings and advice on the area.

“Excellent place to stay”

The location is superb with a full view of The Heads and the lagoon from the verandah. The personal service and attention to detail is second to none. Sue and Danielle the management team are friendly and knowledgable about the area. They do a great job at looking after the guests. The rooms are all lovely and large with great views of the lagoon or the gardens. Very clean and comfortable. I requested a firmer pillow and it was no issue. The food served is excellent. It is all well cooked and beautifully presented. We recommend eating at the hotel if you get the chance. The gardens are all well kept and the pool area is clean. We would recommend a stay here.

The view from the manor is absolutely stunning with the sunset! And to better admire the view, I would recommend taking a book and a glass of wine, nothing more perfect than that! Also would recommend having dinner there, the food is delicious and the atmosphere is peaceful in the dining room by the fireplace 😊

This was our second stay at this amazing boutique hotel, and it was just as great as the first. The staff are super welcoming, and the service from check-in to check-out was spot on. The hotel is in a gorgeous old building that used to be the original home of the famous Thesen family. It’s perched above Knysna with jaw dropping views of the lagoon and Knysna Heads, but only a minute’s drive from all the great restaurants and shops on Thesen Island. We enjoyed their on-site restaurant, which is fantastic, and they’ve recently added a brand new 25-meter pool and a gym in their spacious gardens.
