It was absolutely perfect! The location ist perfect, you can walk down to the street and to the waterfront, where nice restaurants are located. Thesen island is reachable by foot as well. When we checked in, we got an explanation about knysna which was wonderful, as well as a link to some recommendations. Both were so kind and very very sweet! Say we visited knysna after and during the biggest storm they have ever had…. We had to stay a whole day in the accommodation, because of storm and flood warnings. But they were so kind! She even bought us some food in case I wouldn’t have read her WhatsApp in time to go to the supermarket🥺 After breakfast they gave us some games which we could play during the day and apologized for the conditions(even though the could nothing for that because it was just bad weather) So I can absolutely recommend a stay here !!! We will definitely come back!!! Thank you both for such a beautiful stay 🫶

I stayed here the day before my birthday and had such a lovely experience. The host was incredibly welcoming and helpful, even suggesting activities to do during my stay. The breakfast itself was absolutely delicious, with a great variety including fresh fruits. The views were stunning too, with a beautiful balcony overlooking the lagoon. Overall, a warm, memorable stay with exceptional hospitality. Highly recommended!

Literally everything was splendid: the view, Dom and Hans were the most amazing hosts, the breakfast, the location, the comfort of the room and beds - literally everything!

The view from our bedroom was absolutely stunning. Hans and Dom delivered us a fabulous breakfast each day, to eat on the balcony looking at the fabulous view. Our bedroom was comfortable, well equipped, immaculately clean and a lot of thought had gone into furnishing and equipping the bedroom to make for a very enjoyable stay. Nothing seems too much trouble for Hans and Dom, they were the perfect hosts. They kindly provided us with much needed water when my husband felt unwell. I can not recommend this place highly enough and very much hope to be back soon.

“Absolutely amazing B&B with beautiful view”

Fabulous hosts of lovely B♤B rooms with amazing views of Knysna lagoon Bay. Hans and Dominique were so helpful and informative and provided the best breakfast ever during our holiday in SA.

We liked everything about DeView . Dom and Hans were incredibly welcoming and helpful . The room and facilities were excellent and we would highly recommended Deview to anyone wanting to stay in Knysna

Breakfast on our terrace was wonderful

Everything. From the stunning views of the Knysna Heads, to the attention of both Hans and Dom, who made us feel at home at all times. They are incredible. Special note to the delicious breakfast served on the balcony - no better way to kick off a morning of exploring the Garden Route. Would stay there again and again.

We had a wonderful time! Dom and Hans are the best hosts. The room was beautifully furnished with a lot of love for details. The view was incredible, the bed very comfy and the breakfast stunning. They have a huge spread of healthy goods brought to your room set up on the balcony.

“A Gem of a Place”

It is not called de View for nothing. Spectacular view of the lagoon and surrounds, from your own balcony. Room very well appointed and comfortable king size bed. Really enjoyed the lovely breakfast on the balcony. Hans and Dom could not have been more helpful and hospitable - they were amazing.

The owners/hosts were so lovely and accommodating, and very informative! The view was so beautiful, the breakfast served on our private patio was such a highlight, it felt very romantic and the attention to detail and quality of the food was outstanding. The king size bed was super comfy.

We loved our stay at De View. We appreciated every detail in the room as we could tell this was a space created with love. The views were amazing and the daily breakfast while looking out on the terrace was the cherry on top. The hosts were wonderful and so helpful with anything we needed.
