“Perfect stay with amazing food and hosts”
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this guest house. The rooms were spotlessly clean, very comfortable, and equipped with everything you could need. The breakfast was incredibly varied every day and probably one of the best we’ve ever had at a guest house. The entire property is beautifully maintained, creating the perfect atmosphere to relax. In the evenings, you can unwind with a beer or even enjoy a game of darts, which we really loved. Dinner was absolutely delicious—truly outstanding—and the hosts were simply amazing: always friendly, welcoming, and more than happy to help with anything. We would come back anytime!

The most amazing hosts we’ve ever had! We felt so welcome, safe and comfortable, it was like staying with family. Cindy is an amazing cook and we enjoyed a huge, homemade breakfast feast. The house and gardens are so beautiful and peaceful in a little countryside oasis yet only a short drive from the buzzing Knysna town centre. We can’t wait to come back and stay here again! This accommodation exceeded all our expectations for the second time. The hospitality is truly outstanding – a clear 10/10. “Amazing breakfast!”
Our stay at BWHALE Guesthouse was wonderful from start to finish. The owners make you feel genuinely at home from the moment you arrive. Breakfast each morning was amazing, and the care they took was truly exceptional. My husband is coeliac and cannot eat gluten, and they went out of their way every day to prepare different gluten-free options for him — all of them delicious. It made such a difference to feel so well looked after. The guesthouse also has a beautiful, large garden, perfect for relaxing and unwinding. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return.

A beautiful and tranquil place that is run by a nice family, that cooks exceptionally tasty food. I had surfers ear surgery in Knysna and the family really looked after me; even with taking and collecting me from the hospital.
