Overview
Amber Guest Lodge offers luxurious bed and breakfast accommodation overlooking the magnificent Knysna Lagoon on the Garden Route. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms. The beautifully appointed and spacious suites are decorated in a classic, yet modern style that complements their airy, light feel. All suites open onto the large pool area and patio. From there you can enjoy wonderful views of the lagoon and the surrounding mountains, while watching the ever-changing colours of a South African sunset. Tucked into the gentle sweep of Knysna's Eastern Head, Amber Guest Lodge is the perfect place whether you prefer excitement and new experiences or simply to rest and recharge.

“Views, homely and welcoming”
The décor is thoughtfully curated — every piece feels intentionally chosen rather than following a generic template. It’s clear that a lot of care went into the design. The host was warm and welcoming, and breakfast was absolutely delicious, thanks to Priscilla in the kitchen. Overall, it was a wonderful stay. While a few minor touch-ups could be made, the place is truly exceptional — a real home away from home.

Spotlessly clean. Lovely, secure and quiet environment with parking on site. Excellent team. Jackie, John and Priscilla were so welcoming, courteous and helpful. Lovely breakfast. Particularly loved meeting Rexy, the resident dog.
