“I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay in Knysna!”

An 11/10. Exceptionally hospitable staff, amazing breakfast thoughtfully prepared by them. The views were great and the room was so comfortable and beautifully decorated. They have books and board games too, which is really fun if you’re travelling in a group.

Everything, location, beautiful views, cleanliness and wonderful, friendly staff. Hosts welcomed us very well, gave excellent recommendations for food and sight seeing. I recommend the omelette !!

The whole stay was exceptional. Fabulous hosts in Wayne and Dirk and House managers Patsy and Memory. The room was amazing with exceptional views and the location was perfect. Breakfast top class, and the hosts went out of their way assisting us in our stay, even providing a picnic hamper for our visit to the beach. All the folk in the Eastern Cape are amazing.

The breakfast was amazing. The hosts are magnificent and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

The bedroom felt old and was not clean. The shower cubicle had an issue with the drain and was not useable due to the smell. The jacuzzi was not clean which prevented us from using it

Absolutely stunning boutique guest house. So well decorated and appointed. The little touches really made this place special - from the ribbon on the loo roll, to the weights keeping then table cloth secured, to the comfiest bed we’ve stayed in, in a long time. The breakfast was outstanding - fresh and tasty and a great selection. Dirk and Way e were super friendly and so was Pattie, the night manager who checked us in.

Very nice hotel in a lovely part of the country and close to a pleasant town with all amenities.

An amazing boutique Guest House up some quite steep hills but with amazing views. Breakfast was excellent as were Wayne and Derrick and all the staff.

Unfortunately we could only spend one night here, we would have loved to stay longer. The warmth and friendliness of Dirk, Wayne and their staff was exceptional. We were not only greeted with a glass of wine, but also with a fruit and cheese platter. The view of the sea and the Knysna Heads is unrivalled. The two of them have created a dream guest house here. We would love to come back. Thank you for the wonderful time we were able to spend with you.

We had an amazing stay. The guesthouse is beautiful, neat and clean. The ocean view from our room was breathtaking. The communication was very good. The owners and staff were very friendly,welcoming and always willing to help whenever needed.The breakfast was delicious. We highly recommend this accommodation to anyone planning a trip to Knysna.

Everything was great - the staff (!!), the breakfast and the view. The price is high but you get a lot for it, including welcoming drinks and a cheese platter. We can recommend this place and would always come back. Thank you!

From the moment we arrived, we truly felt at home. Dirk and Wayne are exceptional hosts who make you feel so welcome and comfortable, as if you’re staying with family rather than at a guest house. The place is incredibly cozy, and every small detail has been thoughtfully designed—nothing is overlooked. You can really feel the care and love put into every corner. The breakfast was simply outstanding. Everything is freshly made every day, including delicious bites that were honestly some of the best we’ve had. It was the perfect start to each morning and something we genuinely looked forward to. This guest house is warm, beautiful, and full of heart. A truly special place—we can’t wait to return and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, charm, and wonderful hospitality.
