A recently renovated apartment situated in Knockpatrick, Gables Vacation Rentals with Private Gated Parking Onsite features a garden. We love all the little details that were thought of and provided for: fully equipped kitchen. Wifi and travel information written out and on the table, all the light switches labelled, including instructions on how to use the shower. Beyond helpful fir the neurodivergent among us. Night lights and candle for when nature gets too close :-). Cute travel sized bathroom essentials including toothpaste and floss. We did not need for anything and what we forgot to pack was already provided. It is beautifully done, comfortable, quiet and close to nature. A must for me. The hosts are just great Accomodating, friendly, kind, and thoughtful. We extended our stay after the first night! Did we want to stay longer? Yes! It's everything we needed and we will definitely return. Thank you Miss Janet.

We had a fantastic 2 night stay! The room was clean and comfortable. The host was very friendly and patient; we got lost at one point, and she stayed on the phone with us the entire time until we arrived. We really enjoyed our stay, and we highly recommend it. We'll definitely be booking again soon!

“Home away from home”
We thoroughly enjoyed living in our private, self-contained apartment, which was, I think, a conversion of about half the original house. Room sizes were big (bedroom, living room, kitchen and bathroom).Everything was clean. There was ample hanging space for clothing (hangers supplied) and drawers. We had a verandah (grilled) we could sit on and park in a securely gated front yard. The kitchen had full-size appliances: fridge/freezer, stove (cooker), microwave, kettle, plates, cups, mugs, bowls, cutlery, a blender, etc. There was a TV in the bedroom and in the living room where we watched YouTube. Internet access was fast. Nothing was missing.The bathroom was a lovely size with a large shower and tiled seat. Fresh towels and bed sheets were provided and replenished. Shower gel, shampoo and conditioner were also provided. It was truly a home away from home. There was even a laundry sink and washing machine, with washing powder and clothes pegs provided. Although I had not initially planned on cooking on vacation, because eating out is expensive, having the option to cook sometimes helped the budget. The area is quiet, which we wanted, yet Mandeville is close enough by car, and it's where we bought groceries of fast food from KFC, Burger King and Tastee Patty. We would stay there again. In fact our hosts, Janet and Philip were so nice, they are welcome to visit us in our home in Canada.
