Overview
Located in picturesque Forest Hills in Kloof, Nkutu River Lodge (previously Hot Buttered Toast) offers views over the Krantzkloof Nature Reserve on the banks of the Nkutu River. It offers comfortable self-catering accommodation and excellent views. The accommodations include a one-bedroom apartment on the second floor with a large balcony and two deluxe suites in a new building with a big balcony to take in the view of the natural bush garden. These apartments are linked to accommodate a small family. All the rooms are modern, well-designed and well-equipped. Free WiFi and private parking are available. The Nkutu Picnic Site is 850m away, the Waterfall Shopping Centre is a 4-minute drive and PheZulu Safari Park can be reached within 25 minutes' drive. The King Shaka International Airport is located 30 km away.

“The stay was perfect just as I had imagined it.”
The place was stunning and exactly like the photos. The shower was lovely, with an incredible view of the forest; the river isn’t visible from the property—you have to walk down to see it, though you can hear it from there.

“Lodge luxury with a Bush view..!!”
The lodge has a fantastic view over the valley, large trees and your woken every morning by birds that surround you..!! Clean, attention to small details for convenience, everything works 100% and the shower has instant hot water and lots of it..!!
