Extremely nice hosts, very helpful. The host plays piano during breakfast, which is absolutely lovely. The hotel has been decorated with love. The area is lush and has many nice corners to sit and enjoy the sun. My family and I felt very welcome there.

Beautiful boutique hotel recently reconstructed in the small and charming village of Klimmen. The owners were very hospitable and also offered an early check in so I could take an important meeting online. Thank you and we hope to be back!

“Cozy private hotel”

Family who owns the hotel is extremely friendly and nice. The hotel is made of the old farm house which makes it unique and charming. Rooms are cozy and comfortable. Location is also perfect- 10 min by car to Valkenburg and 15 to Maastricht.

I’ll start with the welcome, the hostess of the hotel was very polite and gave us a very warm welcome. She gave us a little tour around the property and gave us the history of the building which was built in 1840. We then went through a little cupboard door which was very surprising. A staircase leading up to the 2 suites and the one where we were staying in. She told us about the times for breakfast and gave us the keys to the suite and the electronic gate and explained how to use it. The room was small but very nicely decorated. It was modern with a touch of vintage, paintings and furniture and we liked it very much. The air conditioning worked great as it was hot. There was a fridge for us to store food and drinks. A large bed which was actually 2 singles joined together with 2 double duvets so it was quite large and had a gap in the middle where they joined but it wasn’t an issue. The next day we went to breakfast together they had a lovely buffet table with everything you would expect and it was a nice breakfast. Then we got a big surprise her husband played the piano while we were eating. He played a few songs and it just made the ambiance and experience fantastic! We didn’t expect it and he played beautifully. There was a mini bar near the check in desk to take drinks and just write down what you took. We checked out and overall it was a very nice and pleasant stay. I would definitely go back there and recommend it to travellers in that region. The price was good enough considering it included the breakfast. Was nice and private it did say the rooms were sound proof but when guests checked in across the hall from us we could hear them through the door. Close by to tourist attractions so it’s well located and you can explore the area in Holland and Germany.

Beautiful place with loads of character! Modernised to the standard but older features are still visible. Stunning garden. Host Yvonne was really helpful to accommodate our needs.

“Huge potential, but a bit of disappointment”

I absolutely loved the garden, beautiful surrounding, birds chirping in the morning. Lovely vibe, slow life. Everything outside was stunning. Very decent breakfast. We were surprised by owner playing piano in the morning while we were enjoying the breakfast, this was a lovely touch. The owner accommodated earlier breakfast for us (at 8am), thats much appreciated. The owners seemed quite friendly and chatty.
