“It really did live up to expectations and we loved every second of our time there”

From the moment we booked, the owner Petar was on hand to answer any questions pretty much instantly. In the weeks before we arrived, he had assisted with arranging both car and boat rental during our stay, and was happy to offer tips and info about all of what Milos had to offer. My wife and I started our honeymoon at The Colourful Land, and were not disappointed. I'm sure Instagram has played it's part in making these houses as popular as they are now, but for once... the social media hype was real. The setting really is as beautiful as we hoped, and the house ticked every box. We were there for the 2nd week of September, so it was reasonably quiet, but were definitely glad to be on the first floor, able to sit out on the balcony yet still maintain a sense of privacy from the (other) tourists below who headed to Klima for 'that instagram shot', and the 'steep' steps helping deter any nosey parkers from peering in. For those on the ground floor, I'm sure it's a slightly different experience. The small kitchenette had all we needed, whilst the neat bathroom and 'spaceship' shower were smart and modern, without jarring the traditional and low-key feel of the property. The massive bed had literally the most comfortable mattress (firm) we had ever slept on. If there weren't hundreds of other Greek Islands to visit, we would return in a heartbeat.

“A slice of paradise”

Location, peaceful, we had everything we needed for our stay including a great assortment of drinks, coffee and snacks. There was a restaurant nearby for meals too. Petar the host was so helpful and accommodating and even organised a booking for me to watch the sunset in the restaurant even though they were fully booked.

Every details were spot on. High standard equipements. Excellent bed linen and matress. Peter, the owner, was very helpful and very nice. Excellent spot.

Nicest location I have ever stayed, right on the water and can hear the waves at night. The place was lovely, clean and bright and had everything needed. Balcony was very nice.

First of all, Petar is an incredible host. He makes everything for our stay been perfect. Never had a so supportive host, he claims that “is not everything about tourism” and he practice it very well. A great human being. About the property we can say that everything is clean and looks even better than in the photos. Satying in Klima, more properly, at the Colourful Land will make your time in Milos worth a lot. Enjoy the sunset at the balcony and fall asleep and wake up with the sound of the Aegen in the background. We would definitely come back at The Coulourful Land in Klima, what a stay. “Stylishly furnished fisherman's house directly by the sea.”

Petar is a super host. Everything was perfectly prepared with great attention to detail. He was available for all our questions and was able to give us valuable tips. The room in the former fisherman's house is very stylish and has everything you need for a stay. The small kitchen can be used to prepare breakfast and simple dishes. We really liked the location in Klima, one of the popular spots on Milos and right by the sea - especially the sunset on the balcony. There is a good restaurant just around the corner and 2-3 up in the next village Tripiti. The best way to reach the accommodation is by rental car, which you also need to visit the various attractions and beaches of Milos. Everything can be reached within 15-30 minutes. Our stay was just great and we were able to discover many new and exciting things. Many thanks to our extraordinary host.
