“Perfect!”

We stayed at the Malangen Apartment for a week and I have to say it was absolutely perfect. The apartment is spacious and cosy and was always nice and warm. We really enjoyed the surroundings and nature and went sledging, built snowmen and had snowball fights every day. The children also loved watching the squirrels in front of the house. We were able to borrow snowshoes and sledges from Johan. A highlight for us was the sauna in the garden and the subsequent bathing in the snow. 😀 On clear nights, we were also able to see the amazing Northern Lights. Johan is a very attentive host who always took care of our needs. He was always available and responded quickly. On the last day, he even went snowmobiling with the boys. What an experience! We thank Johan for everything and look forward to coming back, because that's what we plan to do! It feels like we have a friend in Norway in Johan!

“Incredible stay in stunning location!”

This apartment is amazing - the scenery around it is spectacular and there is so much to do, especially with all the equipment provided by the host. Upon arrival the host showed up a range of warm clothes, boots, shoe shoes, sheds and mats to slide down the hills on (which were great fun) - all free to use whenever. This meant there was a lot to do despite the slightly remote location (don’t let this put you off staying here). We also rented the lovely sauna which was set next to the water and had a Bluetooth speaker included. We were lucky and saw the northern lights, but I think part of this was due to the great location - there is a small hill you can climb to get away from all lights and see the northern lights at their best. The apartment itself was warm and cozy with a big living room. The bathroom was great with underfloor heating, and the kitchen had everything you would need. The host was very helpful and generous and had great communication. Would recommend this place to everyone wanting to see a spectacular area about 90 minutes drive out of Tromso!

The best place to stay in Norway! Spacious, but cozy and well equiped apartment with a super friendly and helpfull host, who came to warn us when the boralis lights were starting and he would lend us his snow shoes and kick sleds. We had 3 wonderfull days!

everything! much larger than we expected, very clean , everything is of high quality and seems new . the owner is very friendly and does his best to help having nice holiday. we went fishing together with his boat two times, because we did not manage to catch anything the first time ( did caught fish during second try). fishing was for free :) Nice walking path ( in winter) 5 minutes drive .

We had a great time here in this apartment in Norway. Johan (house owner) is so friendly and helpful, just like a relative or friend would be.♥️ The best house owner of the world! The apartment felt very homely and we loved all the supplies it had to offer, which are not common for the most rental apartments. We got slides and special worm snowsuits and another equipment for free👌 Norway and especially this region here is so quite and calm. Perfect when you want to get out of your stressed every day life. We loved our snowmobile tour and you can see the local reindeer around. All in all we had a great christmas holiday here. Special Thanks to Johan!!!♥️👍

The apartment is very spacious and offered a lot of treats like a Nespresso machine with capsules, chocolates and basic spices and oil. Johann was very friendly.

“Amazing stay with unforgettable memories”

The property was new, clean and had a great view of the fjord and mountains. Ideal place to see the midnight sun. The host, Johan went far and beyond anything we could imagine, he made the stay unforgettable. We were provided excellent service, given an extra room in a brand new building, he took us fishing in the fjord, where we not only caught fish but also fed an eagle. He also let the kids drive the tractor and feed ox on his farm. We will definitely be coming back and can only recommend staying at Melangen. The hospitality, the surroundings and the amazing people, is something you cannot find anywhere else.
