Mengi House is a beautiful, quiet, and welcoming place. We enjoyed the amenities and its lovely interior design. Our stay was very comfortable, we had everything we needed (warm shower, good night sleep in comfortable bed, kitchen to cook in, lovely breakfast) with a nice view. I can imaging staying more nights here in the future.

It's a beautiful place, especially when you visit in summer, the grass is green and there's sun outside, the home is beautiful and cozy, our host was very kind and we had a nice breakfast, the rooms are clean and comfortable.

Friendly and helpful welcome. Lovely decoration and view from the bedroom and breakfast room. Didn't manage to try the hot tub but looked good. No problem with waits for shared facilities

A neat house with clear rules for the common areas, and huge windows (helps with spotting aurora even from inside - if not for the clouds when we were there...) Loved the little explanation video before arrival. Good for getting to know the place, and easy self-check-in!

It has a kitchen with everything you need to cook (pots, pans, cutlery, etc). There is also a hot tub, which we did not use but had a great view of the surrounding fields.

The place is very clean, comfortable and comes with a great view. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, it gives you peace and calm of the countryside! Highly recommend!

Nice small guest house with all you need during Icelandic adventure. Hot tube! The breakfast was good. Excellent coffee. Shared bathroom clean and specious, sometimes crowded. Very nice views

The host was super kind and welcoming! The structure was clean and the atmosphere was very pleasant! We loved the big shared kitchen and dining room, as well as the bath tube. Also the breakfast was very good, with a nice variety of options. Having many showers is definitely a plus!

If you are looking for a quiet, secluded place in the countryside, to experience the authenticity and specificity of the environment of this island, this is the right place. The staff was very friendly. Shared showers and toilets are typical of an country house.
