Set on its own stretch of white sand beach, The Residence Zanzibar is a 55-minute drive from Zanzibar City. The property boasts a garden and offers free WiFi to its guests. “A true luxury experience—worth every cent”
This was easily one of the best stays I’ve had. Everything is intentional—from the design to the service. The staff are kind, efficient, and genuinely care. You don’t need to repeat requests, everything is handled properly the first time. We had to switch to private dining due to my daughter not feeling well, and the team went out of their way to accommodate us, including offering discounts without us even asking. The property is spotless, beautifully maintained, and the twice-daily housekeeping is a lovely touch. Extending our stay was seamless. A true luxury experience—worth every cent.

All the staff are exceptionally friendly and always willing to help. The bicycles provided for exploring the property enhance the experience, making it a joy to travel around amidst the lush greenery and vibrant flowers. The property is absolutely charming - spacious, green, and tranquil. We especially loved the bicycles waiting for us by the villa (including a perfectly sized bike for our child) which made getting around the hotel grounds so convenient. The room was tastefully decorated, comfortable, and quiet. We liked the wonderful game room with ping-pong and target practice, as well as the beautiful pool. Everything was perfect. We arrived late in the evening, just as dinner service was ending. The staff immediately brought us menus and offered to serve our meal in our room without extra charge. Since the children were tired, this was a wonderful and thoughtful solution.

This hotel has everything that you need to make perfect holiday memories. Having a private pool is a fantastic charm to enjoy in the morning until the beach waves are back. Kids' clubs ensure your child is engaged and well cared for. Dinner options are truly incredible, and having fresh grills every day will add even more flavour to the food. The chef will go above and beyond expectations to ensure that dietary requirements are met.
