“Perfect place in Zanzibar”

Everything was perfect. Clean, friendly staff, nice food, amazing ocean view. We spent 10 nights there and didn’t want to leave in the end because it was so wonderful.

All the staff, are super welcoming, friendly and helpful. Felt really looked after and always greeted with a "Karibou" and a smile. Room was spotlessly clean, spacious and comfortable, with spectacular bed making everyday, with a highlight of flowers and towel sculptures. Lovely breakfast, choice of eggs and plenty of fresh fruit and hot drinks & juices. Good and varied choice of dishes on dinner menu, catering for all dietary requirements. The environment is like a beach resort, with easy access to the sea and a lovely swimming pool. There are lots of quirky and cosy places to sit, read, sunbathe. We had a fabulous stay and highly recommend a stay at Promised land for some R&R. But what makes this place stand out special is the people who run it and work there. A big thank you to each one of you.

We loved the vibe, which is very relaxed and we loved all the animals in the resort, from dogs and cats to monkeys and other creatures. It felt like being on a secluded island where there is little else to do but relax and chill out. The rooms were also very spacious, well equipped and clean.

Promised Land in Kizimkazi is one of those places where you immediately feel relaxed. The location is beautiful, right by the ocean, with a very chilled and authentic Zanzibar vibe. The atmosphere is laid-back and social, with music, good energy, and often a mix of travelers from all over the world. The food and drinks are simple but good, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. you’re looking for a place that feels lively but still connected to nature and the sea, Promised Land is definitely worth visiting when you’re in Kizimkazi.

It was a stay where everything was perfectly complete within the hotel. The food was absolutely delicious, the sea was close by, and we really enjoyed the peaceful and quiet atmosphere. In the evenings, we relaxed by the bonfire, and it was the perfect place to slow down and escape from the busy city. We also appreciated how easy it was to book tours directly from the hotel
