I could write a novel about how much we loved our stay at Kizikula. Hands down the best hotel we ever experienced. The location is quite remote and makes it feel as if you’re alone on the island, it’s so peaceful. The amenities are beautiful, the rooms are so well curated, the pool/bar area is to die for. It always felt as if we were the only ones in the hotel even though it was quite full, because the lounge spaces are so well designed and are at a distance from each other. There is so much to do, from snorkelling to paddling to kayaking to yoga to walking around looking at all the beautiful plants and nature, to swimming in the gorgeous pool, to gazing at the perfect sunset views. Cannot forget the food: it was simply one of the best hotel restaurants we ever tasted. And of course, the highlight of the hotel is their staff. Nema, Enock, Yasmine, and all the others, thank you so much for not only your hospitality but your genuine warmth and kindness. We cannot wait to visit you again one day.

Kizikula truly felt like a dream come true. From the location with its perfect sunsets every evening to the architecture, design, food, and service, every detail is thoughtfully considered and beautifully executed. We’ve stayed in many lovely hotels, but this place easily stands out above the rest. The attention to detail made us feel incredibly welcome and relaxed from the very first moment. We already know we’ll be coming back next year. Thank you, Jasmin and the entire team, for making our stay at Kizikula unforgettable.

We were staying for 14 nights at kizikula and we simply loved it. The staff was unbelievably friendly, always doing their very best to meet our needs. Food was also great, a lot of organic local food. We enjoyed swimming in the pool, had an awesome massage, went for a sunset boat tour and many more things. We highly recommend this place for anybody who is looking for a small paradise!

Quiet - although the hotel seem to have a policy that non guests who come for drinks/food can stay all day and use the pool, sunbeds and paddle boards, which is very disappointing but unsurprising. Nice rooms but impractical as privacy is limited - only door to the room is entirely glass. Nice pool and unique beach access. Free paddle boards and bikes but bikes are not maintained and brakes do not work on any of them. Friendly staff but poorly trained.

“Kizikula”

We loved our stay at Kizikula. We’d travel back to Zanzibar just to stay there again, it was that nice! There’s a lovely chilled vibe, it’s spacious and only a few rooms so you don’t really feel the other guests. The team are all great too, so nice, especially Nema and Enoch. Beautiful views, tasty food. It ticks all the boxes!

We had a wonderful stay at Kizikula Hotel. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The atmosphere of the hotel is calm and relaxing, perfect for a peaceful getaway. The rooms were really nice, clean, and comfortable, and the pool area was beautiful and well maintained. Overall, a great place to stay — we would happily come back and highly recommend it.

A boutique and unique property on the isolated southern coast - the design details were incredible, the room was spotless, and the views over the ocean with stellar sunsets were beautiful! Love that they have a kayak and paddle board that is usable when the tide is medium, a ladder to go down into the waters, decks to lounge on, and farm to table food. Special property overall.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The location is stunning – peaceful, beautifully designed, and surrounded by nature. Our room was absolutely beautiful, spacious, and perfectly decorated, creating such a relaxing atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome from the very first moment. They went above and beyond to make my birthday extra special, and I’m really grateful for their thoughtful gestures. Everything – from the atmosphere to the service – exceeded our expectations. I will definitely be coming back and can’t wait to experience it again.
