Our time in Zanzibar was an adventure from start to finish! hotel room was a serene haven, with natural furnishings and charming artwork that made us feel right at home. Days were spent exploring the wonders of Kiwengwa reef on a captivating tour. Snorkeling amidst vibrant starfish and colorful reef fish was an experience we'll never forget. And let's not forget the thrill of fishing on a local boat! The excitement of reeling in our catch combined with the stunning coastal views made for an unforgettable day. Evenings were reserved for dining at the ocean pier restaurant, where the food rivaled Michelin star quality. Z-Lodge provided the perfect blend of adventure and luxury nature, leaving us with memories to cherish forever.

“beauty of the natural materials and nature”
Wow! Our stay at Z-Lodge was absolutely incredible.Room: beauty of the natural materials used in the furniture and the lovely paintings on the walls. Garden, 2 pools, ocean cliffs- It was like paradise. But the real highlight was definitely the restaurant on the ocean pier. The food was out of this world, and the views were breathtaking. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. We will be happy to plan our next visit!

“pet-friendly cozy hotel in Zanzibar”
Hi there! We're family of 2 and our furry friend, Max. We recently had the most wonderful time at Z-Lodge Zanzibar Hotel! The room with boat wood furniture and decorations was so cozy. And they kept it super clean every day, which was a nice touch. The food was delicious, and they had something for everyone. Plus, they were pet-friendly, so Max had a blast too! We went on an awesome excursion, exploring some cool spots in Zanzibar and experiencing the local culture. We also received some souvenirs from hotel while checking out- a pleasant surprise. It was was a perfect family vacation. Thanks, Z-Lodge Zanzibar!

“Avo burger was amazing”
Our staying at Z-lodge Zanzibar was absolutely worth money&value&experience. The hotel is situated in an idyllic location, with stunning views from the restaurant's deck. The restaurant itself was a highlight of the trip, serving up some of the tastiest avocado bun burgers I've ever had. What really sets Z-lodge apart, however, is the cool breeze that kept the temperature comfortable throughout my stay. This was a welcome respite from the heat I experienced at other places in Zanzibar. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a beautiful and comfortable stay in Zanzibar. The restaurant is not to be missed, and the cool breeze makes for a truly relaxing vacation.

“Fruits, Pizzas, Green hotel, Blue Ocean with nice hot weather!”
Really Nice rooms with handcrafted furniture from old sailing boats, the food was good, there is a pizza with avocado, honey, wallnuts and cream cheese that was a really unique taste that we did not have before. They have a freshest fruits everyday and their own fruit plants, I did not know a pineapple grows on a bush. We had a treatment in the spa everyday directly on the beach, you can go for really long walks on the beach, and find some other nice options for food too. Zanzibar was a good trip for us, escaping the winter and now happy to back home. Thank you Zanzibar Z lodge.

“DUMPLINGS IN ZANZIBAR”
We are two Ukrainian girls that found Z Lodge through some of our friends, we were so happy to find real Ukrainian food since we are living in another country, The hotel made us some special Ukrainian dishes during our stay and arranged a reef tour where we collected sea urchins for a fresh salad, every night there is bushbaby's coming for dinner in the restaurant (Very Cute animals). The room we had was brand new and amazing with sunrises. I would recommend staying here, there is a lot of love in this place, our room was with a beautiful view of the ocean.| Thank you to Z team and best wishes Anna :)

“Sky, Sand and Sea Zanzibar”
We came to Tanzania for a Safari, and decided to spend a few nights in Zanzibar, the rooms were nice, we stayed in the news section with a large view of the ocean. The staff were very friendly, the cocktails are tasty, the spa is unique and WORTH it, then we went skydiving, the food is what is like on the instagram, check it out @z.lodge.zanzibar Wicked place, love the owners special touch.

“The intimate place full of peace and quiet”
Very peaceful place with kindly people. We had the greatest room on whole vacations on Zanzibar. There was very clean and the pool has coolness water, so it was awesome. From the pool you could admire ocean. Delicious food look like streight from instagram🤩

Beautiful quiet location right next to the ocean.Busy and noisy area of Kiwengwa village itself was reachable by a drive of 5-10 min, but The beach walk would take 30-40 min. Delicious food and drinks. Responsive staff. Well designed and always clean.

“I wanted to steal their Spa therapist”
When checked in we had coconut water with a hibiscus flower as a welcome drink- perfect tropical idea to great the guests. We received complimentary massage as well and used it the same day -Jackie was awesome and we had more massages with her- God bless those hands)). Food- no complaints, only compliments- all was highest quality and presentation. Greetings to Mariam and Sammy and special recommendation - Pina Colada - it is different in a good way - full of flavours and rich taste. Room- big, all natural wood, simple, but nice touches and loved the painting.
