“Great atmosphere, amazing food, but swimming depends on tides”

Overall, a very good stay, although a bit different from the photos and with slightly different expectations. There are few beach vendors, which is a plus. However, if you are looking to swim in the ocean, it’s only possible very rarely due to low tides. There are many locals around, and in the evenings you can watch local people playing football. That said, you step straight onto the beach as soon as you leave your room, and the ocean view is beautiful and definitely a highlight. The staff are extremely warm, kind, and welcoming. The food is excellent — especially the pizzas! It truly feels like an Italian place, with hospitality just as heartfelt as in Italy. Overall, a good experience!

Fantastic experience!!!! The resort Is directly at the beach, totally holiday feeling! Everything is with great style decorated. Rooms are nice and cozy, clean and comfortable beds! The lounge and restaurant are stylish with photographies, linen and cushions. Pizza is better than in Italy.:-) Prices are more than ok. Breakfast ist super with great selection. But the very best is the staff that makes you feel at home. Helpful, kind, with laughter and fun. Special thanks to Gloria, who organizes all so perfect...!!! Thanks as well to Anna, you are both so wonderful! We left with tears in the eyes and many good feelings in our hearts!

It has just been a dream! We were very warmly welcomed and we immediately felt home. Gloria, the owner, and Anna were just so kind and available for questions at any time and also the staff was really really nice! The hotel has such a relaxing atmosphere and the view on the beach is just stunning. You can even have breakfast and lunch with the feet in the sand and a view to the beach. The food was very delicious and priceworthy. Gloria was also organizing trips for us and next door you can also have a massage, if you want to. Even when my boyfriend got a high fever and intestinal problems they helped out with contacting a doctor. Every waitress knew what was going on, so they were preparing the right food for him - we felt very safe and well cared for! All in all we couldn‘t have made a better decision to choose the White Dream and we will miss it a lot!

We stayed at White Dream Hotel for 4 days as part of our tour around Zanzibar, and I must say—what a pleasant surprise! We stayed at several hotels around the island, but White Dream truly met all our expectations and stood out as a favorite. The hotel is located on the vibrant and beautiful Kiwengwa Beach, with all rooms facing the ocean. Every morning, we woke up to the gentle music from the hotel and the soothing sound of waves—an incredible way to start the day feeling relaxed and at peace. Breakfast was Italian-style, with freshly made fruit juices and delicious, freshly baked pastries. The hotel restaurant served an amazing mix of local and Italian cuisine, including excellent pizza and fresh local seafood. We ended up dining there every night, eager to try something new each time! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. A special thank you to the amazing managers, Anna and Gloria, for making our experience so relaxing and ensuring we had everything we needed to truly escape our busy day-to-day lives. We absolutely loved our stay and highly recommend White Dream Hotel to anyone visiting Zanzibar!

Wonderful place and wonderful staff that make you feel so welcome and at home. Beautiful rooms, beach area and everything is just relaxing, beautiful and clean. Excellent food in the restaurant. We tried other places here with good reviews but this is the best. Highly recommended place!

everything was amazing. Insanely delicious food, a very beautiful new place, with all the amenities. Excellent view of the ocean, excellent service. I would like to say a special thank you to Gloria, who always helped with organizing leisure time, gave useful advice and raised our spirits throughout our vacation. She creates the atmosphere of this hotel. I would also like to thank Anna and the waiters, they are always interested in whether everything is to your liking, are ready to help at the first request and are very smiling. The owner of the hotel will also always help and was able to check us in ahead of time. This is a great place, with a good location and everything you can dream of for a good vacation. I especially liked the panoramic pool, the bartender also makes very tasty cocktails. Very clean room, cleaned every day, all furniture is new. Breakfasts are very tasty, lots of fruit and there is something to choose from.
