“Boring but adequate.”

A peaceful resort, with a friendly host (can’t say the same about his co host, she didn’t acknowledge us once the entire stay, not even my 1 year old who tried to say hi) . The rooms are okay, with a decent bungalow. It’s okay if you just wish for peace and quiet, and a decent place to stay. The view is nice. They have a great in house chef who cooks up wonderful fresh fish.

“Best choice for an Sansibar trip”

This resort ist just fantastic in any possible concern: The location is literally just one step next to the sea and the view is breathtaking. The residence is very comfortable and so much nicer than a large tourist hotel. You have everything you need there and also for a reasonable price. Clean, nice pool. Pretty and clean rooms with AC and moscito nets. A restaurant with delicious food und drinks. Nice, polite staff and overall a super nice experience. Very important to mention are the hosts of the resort Uros and his partner Tijana. They are the nicest hosts I ever had (and I travelled quite a lot over many places). They helper me in any extent I could imagine. And this help was really very useful since Africa is not just another continent but more like another planet. They organized taxi drivers, sim data cards, events (like fishing in the ocean or learning to kite surf, e.g.) and many other things and in our case also medical support since we had some issues (not being caused by the resort, of course). Thank you so much again!!! I can't recommend this place enough, it's a hidden gem :-)

“My daughter and I spent 8 happy days in the stone resort with friendly people around and participated in some very well”

Management and stuff are friendly, helpful and flexible. They helped to organize whatever activities we wanted to do. The food was very good and the lodge is extremely cosy. The area is quiet and the beach is wonderful.

Small and cozy. Not overcrowded ( was not fully occupied ). Had a room with A/C and balcony facing the beach which was very nice. Walking distance to other hotel restaurants, bars and sport facilities. Resort manager and staff are friendly and helpful.

“Great disappointment”

This place is not correct! We have booked and paid in advance for a 45 m2 room with a terrace overlooking the garden and under the pretext of a change (…they gave the room to someone else… ) we were put in a very small room of less than 10m2, at the back of the resort with a small balcony overlooking the roof. They didn’t do anything to compensate! This is not correct, run away from this place!

Hotel is beautifully placed. It has got charming garden with great ocean view. Staff every day takes care about your happiness there. The best sunbeds I have ever lay on😁 Vacation in this place will be the best choice which you can make.

“A Paradise Structure in Kiwengwa,”

fantastic experience: I would say a "boutique Zanzibar Resort" with all perfect from Design of the resort, attention to details in african style, super service, top Cusine & Bar service, fantastic position on the beach (for who loves the high/low tide activity with beautiful walks on the beach)...all managed with passion and professionality by Uros & his Team (who will make you feel home and help you in all you may need). I strongly recommend Stone Resort also to Italian Tourists who would like to find a more Authentic & Romantic location, not usual and cold huge Resort.

“The best place to stay”

I took my mom with me and this place was the best choice😍. We loved every second we spent there. The place is magical, rooms are very clean, they changed the bedsheets and cleaned the room every day, food is AMAZING, and there is a big selection of alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages There is a massage place on the spot, and trust me you have to try it! The hosts are super friendly, very helpful, always available, going above and beyond to meet your needs and to make your stay unforgettable! Any tour that you want to do or whichever place you want to visit they will help you with that and organise the trip for you. They even give mosquito repellent for every guest. If you go for the tour and you skip your breakfast, they make you sandwiches for take away, they are really making an effort that I haven't seen anywhere else. They are so professional and you will not only get what they promised to you, you will get a lot more, it's an experience and the way you will feel during your stay with them! You will have everything you are looking for so if you choose this place you won't have any regrets! I am so happy that I had the honour to meet this wonderful people and to stay at their place. “Relaxing holiday on beautiful Kiwengwa beach.”

We loved this resort! The location is outstanding, right on the beautiful and calm Kiwengwa beach. The garden and pool area is very nice. We had a spacious family suite with two separate bedrooms and our own patio outside. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is outstanding! We had all other meals in the restaurant as well and they were all very tasty. Great value for money. Stone Resort is a true gem that I can give our warmest recommendations.

“The best hotel in Kiwengwa”

Best accommodation in Kiwengwa area. Very friendly staff and great helpful owners who took care and interest in our needs above and beyond the call of duty. We felt very happy and comfortable there. The resort is a little paradise and has everything you need for a perfect rest. There is a vending machine with water all day, a nice, clean well maintained pool, hammocks, beds and enough sun loungers. You can take advantage of the hotel's quality massages or order food and drink to your sun lounger. The rooms are air conditioned, clean and cleaned every day, the beach is right next to the hotel and is very nice and clean. We recommend everyone to visit this resort.

Good location in front of the ocean. The rooms and entire area very clean ; Wi-Fi good ; we have appreciated the fact that the hosts accepted early check-in and late check-out, free of charge

Highly reccommended. Really great location, directly on the beach. The room was clean and comfortable.The breakfast and all the meals served were good, freash and the portions were more than enough. The garden and the terrace facing the ocean were offering a paradise like view. Many thanks to Daniela, Zeljko and the Team for their hospitality! And special thanks to Zeljko for waking up so early to make sure we get a taxi to the airport and sandwiches. They were delicious! Happy 2024! Best wishes!

The owners were super nice and helpful. There were free kayaks to use and the room was spacious. The location is great, directly at the beach. And the restaurant is very nicely located.

We liked everything, from the wonderful, smiling and always helpful hosts and staff, through the amazing space around the hotel, wonderful massages, to the restaurant, the view of the ocean and our favorite outdoor bed right on the beach. It was a pleasure to spend a week of our vacation there, we felt like at home. We hope that we will be able to return there again.
