“Excellent location and friendly staff”

The staff was amazing throughout. Everyone tried to.make our stay as confortable as possible. If we come back to Zanzibar for sure we will stay back at Marafiki.

Everything!! The place is amazing, the staff is perfect, the food is excellent and the rooms are clean and very comfortable. The staff and specially the manager of the hotel helped us in many issues, surprised our daughter with a cake and a song for her birthday!! Don't think twice and book this place

Exceptional place to stay. This is my second time here and it was as magical as before. The food for me is the best on the island. Amazing seafood and steaks and chapatis and curry and Swahili dinner and so much fruit etc at breakfast. Lovely staff. Huge comfy beds, nice big rooms with little patios each, AC, amazing pool looking out to ocean. The beach is tidal and you can only swim 🏊 n the sea when tide is in which is fine as the pool is great. Lovely clean clear sea when tide in. Great thing about the location is it’s towards end of beach so quiet out front. Can walk to town and pier in twenty minutes aling beach. Thank you marafiki I’ll see you soon

My stay was relaxing. The staff were very friendly and attentive, and nothing was too much trouble when asked. The food was lovely and lots of it, especially the breakfast. Visits to the spice farm and Stone Town and Snorkeling was organised by the hotel staff which was great.

The cottage provided a treat for the holiday, and the housekeeping team clearly knocked it out of the park with their brilliant service. There’s nothing quite like a high-quality bed to make a holiday feel restful, especially when paired with a solid complimentary coffee and tea station for those slow island mornings. To top it off, the beautiful gardens surrounding the property gave a perfect touch of tropical serenity to the whole experience.

Marafiki is well situated, offering a properly private experience. The bungalows are really spacious well maintained by the staff. The staff are the warmest and most amazing you’ll experience !!! This was my highlight, the quality of care and attention to detail is superb. Kudos to the management for setting up an amazing team. The view of the oven is just lovely, I lodged in one of the beachfront bungalows and waking up to the view and sound of the ocean was just therapeutic. Overall, the Marafiki experience is worth the money and I’m sure going back soon

The only hotel we stayed at during our 10 day trip that offered a tea and coffee station. Staff are fantastic and made stay so welcoming. Breakfast was amazing and daily cocktail special a treat!
