Small hotel with excellent restaurant. Right on the beach accessible for swimming. A beautiful sandbank just outside the hotel. Very good food and super friendly staff. Clean and comfortable rooms.

Imara is such a beauty, Erika kept good communication from beginning to end. The staff is exceptional so polite and helpful, huge thank you to Innocent at the front desk, the Bar attendants Sulleman and Ali. They truly made the experience amazing. What a beautiful place.

Amazing staff, they made our stay so much nicer. Anything you need, they will help. Very comfortable, the view from the room is amazing, we even got a room on the ground floor with sunbeds. Breakfast is the best we ever had. Would come back as soon as possible. Thank you all for such a wondeful stay.

“Can't review highly enough”
The resort was incredible. This would have to be my favourite place I have ever stayed. The staff were as amazing as anyone could hope for. They went above and beyond with everything. Organising our tours even organising a take away breakfast for us to take with us the night before. The restaurant had some of the most amazing food to eat all day.

“Great food and cocktails, Comfortable room”
We had a very comfortable stay at Imara. The staff were excellent - very helpful and friendly. They helped us order taxis and even arranged someone to pick up bandaids when my partner injured his foot. The room was spacious with good air con. The food in the restaurant is very good, including the breakfast. Nishka is a great bartender and made probably the best cocktails we had in Zanzibar. Would happily stay at Imara again.

“We have a fabulous time.”
All the staff were so friendly made sure we had everything we needed, made sure we got to A and B safely. The hotel was very clean, they also accommodated around us as we had a unwell sister that didn’t leave the room most of the holiday and they made sure she was fed and also checked on her on a regular. I would 100% come back and stay here and would recommend this place.

“Great boutique hotel!”
The hotel is very nice and the room was huge and very clean! It was also amazingly decorated and we loved the sea view which was breathtaking! The property serves a great breakfast and the restaurant has several lunch and dinner options. Everything we tried was delicious!
