“Very nice”

It’s a lovely B&B with great staff and an ideal location on the beach. Next to the B&B there are 2 restaurants. Ik recommend to go to PaoPao (walk left). Breakfast is great, room is ok (right on the beach) and bed is perfect. The village Kiwenga is very small but good for a cup of coffee and some basic groceries.. They appreciate it if you dress a little coveted in town. Overall had a really good stay for a couple of days

The staff were fantastic, particularly the owner who was so attentive without being overbearing. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful and the terrace was lovely for drinks at night. We particularly liked the nice touch of books and games available. Perfect place to chill out and forget about the world.

Everything, the hotel is literally on the beach, has only 5 rooms, so you are not too crowded and is cosy and welcoming. The host was great and very helpful.

Very friendly host who makes sure you have a great experience. The house is right on the beach with your own private sun beds to lay on. If you are looking for a peaceful beach vacation in Zanzibar on budget, this is your place. There are some good restaurants near by, especially the White Dream restaurant, which serves the best authentic Italian food.

Honestly I dont know what should I write. We were here for four days and we really enjoyed everyone of them. We were surprised by the the room and by the whole building,it was beautiful and it looked like new. Host and his staff they were incredible,perfect,nice and we miss you already. Our room has side seaview and in the evenings we were relaxing outside or at the terrace. Bed was perfect for us. We have to say that we had best breakfast so far,everyhnig was fresh, and the fruit...so sweet. You are eating your breakfast at the terrace,you are looking at the sea-what more you can imagine :) At 17.00,its the tea-time, that means you get spicetea with sweet snack and I have no more words:) perfect House is right at the beach,with private sunbeds,few steps to the sea. You can go for a walk to left or right side of the beach. Nearby restaurants on the left or right side of the beach. We choose Ayla beach house,as it have just few rooms so we could have peaceful and relaxing stay in Kiwengwa-and it was perfect choice. Nice house,very nice and friendly people-if we go to Zanzibar again,we will go to Ayla beach house for sure.

The owner has huge attention to details & it makes your holiday special. Very comfortable room with beautiful view. I appreciated mostly the zero waste soap&shampoo with tea at 5. Recommended by professional host, all the positive reviews are well deserved.

A delightful, small boutique hotel/guest house literally on the beach 🏝️ Managed by the delightful Simai, it has everything you could expect and more .. Breakfast on the terrace, with fresh fruits, juice and eggs is magical .. and it’s conveniently located between the two best restaurants on the beach PoaPoa and White Dream 😊 More importantly it’s all in the detail Ayla Beach House has a backup generator and pumps so the water pressure is terrific and you’re always assured of a power supply which is not a given with other properties in the area

Absolutely relaxing area at the private beach! Nobody is disturbing there. Awesome spiced tea at 5 o clock and a wonderfully house with wonderful service and people! Great cocktails with absolutely fair prices! Directly at the beach! Awesome breakfast! Thanks a lot

“A super enjoyable, beautiful and comfortable place to stay!”

The design of the place was really well done. I liked that the owner was local and realized his dream by building a boutique hotel.

This hotel is an absolute gem! We spend 4 nights here only but it felt like 10. The staff has been amazing, the attention to detail from the rooms to the breakfast served has been outstanding. The hotel only has a couple of rooms and is very cozy. It is located in probably the best section of the beach front with beautiful views and and restaurants in walking distance to either side. Long walks along the beach have been our absolute highlight! Cannot recommend this place enough and we hope to be back one day!

Paradise spot in Kiwengwa beach. We already feel nostalgic about this place after spending 2 weeks in Fabolous Ayla beach house. The view from the hotel looking towards palms🌴 and the Indian ocean is outstanding! The breakfast with exotic fruits was really delicious as well. But most important are the people who welcomed us and made our stay unforgettable! Simay, who is the host helped us with everything we needed in order to organize our vacation on the island. However, what was really unforgettable and special is the positive vibes from all the stuff! ❤️ P.S. don't forget to bring some treats for the kids at the beach & and general kiddos of Zanzibar making their day a little bit more special, receiving big smiles and love back! Hakuna matata from Greece!
