Overview
Set a 5-minute walk from the Kitzbühel town centre, family-run Pension Schmidinger enjoys a quiet location only 800 metres from the Hahnenkamm cable car. It offers a rich breakfast buffet. Free Wi-Fi is available. All comfortably furnished en-suite rooms feature fantastic views of the Kitzbühl Streif slope or the surrounding mountains. Some also have a balcony. Guests can relax in the large garden of the Schmidinger guesthouse or enjoy their breakfast on the terrace in summer. Vitalized Grander Water is provided in the entire house. Guests can also get active at the nearby bowling alley and tennis courts or go ice-skating, snowboarding and skiing in winter. Ski storage is on site. The Aquarena public swimming pool is only a short walk away from the Schmidinger. Several restaurants and bars are also nearby. Parking is free of charge.

Awesome " Austrian authentic Pension" ! Great plus... convenient free car parking area at the property. Winter or summer : Perfect location to jump on the Kitz city bus called " Ring bus " , free with Kitz Ski Pass . It also service both ski areas Hornberg and Hahnenkamm Bahn . Both train stations . Easy access to other local ski bus connections to all surrounding villages .

“Couldn't recommend enough”
Super location on the edge of town. Immaculately clean, we saw the cleaner in action and couldn't believe the level of cleaning being done. The staff were so helpful. Lovely simple breakfast with eggs cooked to order and great coffee.

“Great accommodation in prime location, loved it”
I had a fantastic stay, the hosts are exceptionally welcoming and helpful, the location is perfect: quiet but only 5 mins walk to the heart of town, my single bedroom was extremely clean and comfortable, very quiet even with the window open all night. Lovely modern bathroom with a great shower. You could have breakfast or your own meals in the sunshine in the little courtyard with view of the Hahnenkamm mountain. Perfect.

We really enjoyed our stay. Barbara the host was very friendly and helpful and the location was ideal. Few minutes walk to the main lift. Would highly recommend.
