Views and breakfast

Great location. You can ski out and ski back in; on the way back you just need to take the red slope number 21. The Hinterseer will be on your right before reaching the end of the slope. If you prefer not to ski this slope or choose another route, it’s about a 5-minute walk after getting off the main gondola. However, because of the incline, walking with skis can be a bit challenging. The same challenge exists when returning in the evening after going out, but the comfort, cleanliness, atmosphere, and the ski-in/ski-out convenience make you forget about the uphill walk. Experiencing Ernst Hinterseer’s skiing legacy while staying here is also a special touch. The people were very kind. If I come back, this would definitely be my choice again.

“Comfy, cosy & clean!”

The overall vibe was lovely & very traditional alpine feel. The lounge area was so cosy both in the morning & after a long day skiing. It was lovely to sit in there and play cards with a drink before dinner. The breakfast was also fantastic with lots of choice. Beds were super comfortable. We also loved the family history element as there are lots of photos/trophies on display linked to the owner’s father who was a famous Austrian skier!

The owners treated us like locals and very friendly and helpful. We felt like part of the family. The view was as advertised, the hertiage and history of the place was fully on displayed. The staff was friendly. The ski room was very well facilitated, every equipement was dry the next day. Even though the bathrooms were abit outdated, it was maintained well and decorated nicely that makes you enjoy the old style. The rooms were exceptional with plenty of spaces and heating.

What a lovely place! Pension Hinterseer is in a top location — quiet, yet just a short walk from the center of Kitzbühel. You can really feel the love and care in all the little details throughout the house. Our room was comfortable and beautifully kept, with a nice balcony overlooking the mountains. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home. And the garden — absolutely wonderful! Having breakfast outside in the sunshine, surrounded by flowers and mountain views, was a real treat. It felt like a little celebration every morning. I would definitely stay here again!

The appartment worked well for us both as a bedroom and as a meeting place for my family. Sauna was a nice add-on. The hotel is well placed for access to the slopes provided you are a good enough skier to get down the 21 red (it is not easy in slush conditions!)

It is a perfect place with an amazing view. such a cozy and comfortable hotel with really friendly owners. So close to the elevator and the center of the town. The hotel is not new, but all envervement well-gromed and tidy.

Place to be in Kitz. Ski in Ski out. Hinterseer family very warm and close.

The location is perfect. although there is a big hill to walk when coming back from the pub!!! Breakfast is always fresh and great variety including eggs any which way you would like them!! on one of the days even the open fire was on when we came down for breakfast!! Fab

The most comfortable stay in such a perfect hotel. The room was perfect and the breakfast was great each morning! I could not recommend staying here more the lovely fire in the evenings really made it so enjoyable
