“A magical, authentic and special way to experience Kitz”
There are a few places in the world you don’t want everyone to know about, just so you can keep it them for yourself, this is one. Waking up on top of the world, the town of Kitzbuehel below you, the slopes groomed and ready, with no one yet up on the mountain, the snow untouched, is magical. When the day ends and the mortals descend back down the mountain you watch the sun set and easy into a fun evening of great food, wine and conversation. The owners and the team at Hocheck are the real Kitzbuehel, the stay is very special.

“Incredible place with an incredible view. Coming back for sure!”
Location is incredible! It is 5min walk from the main Hahnenkamm cable-car station. We have parked in Kitzbuhel and took a cable-car to get to the property. Do not pack big suitcases, but rather a bag to make it more convenient, so you can also ski out on the leave. Property is perfectly located, with a nice view. It offers dinner, breakfast, drinks... everything needed for a stay on the mountain. Room was quite small but very comfortable. Beds were so good to sleep. Definitely would recommend to stay up on the hill and experience waking up in the morning surrounded by the mountains and incredible view.

“Perfect top-of-the-mountain stay for winter and summer”
Great location (right next to the top of the Hahnenkamm gondola) with stunning views - the terrace is fabulous. Ideal for family or couple, winter ski (you’ll be first on the slopes) or summer hiking or cycling (all the walking and cycling routes start from there). Great dinner and breakfast - high quality hut fare. Very comfortable and clean - service is super friendly. Great value for money.

“Amazing hosts in a fantastic location!”
Absolutely charming mountain accommodation right on the slopes. We had a room with private bathroom and a chalet type studio both with the most amazing views over the valley and the mountains. Michelle, Peter and Uwe were fantastic and went the extra mile. Can’t wait to return in the summer! Food and drinks were great.

“Just lovely!”
Beautiful location and kind staff! The location is just incredible and very easy to reach if you take the Hahnenkammbahn up, and then either a short 5/10min walk down (over snow in winter) or short ride with ski/snowboard. It is also next to a slope so from the hut you can ski directly to a lift which is amazing, especially early in the morning during the sunrise, just beautiful! I think it can be a very fun place to socialize, however when I was there during Christmas it was super quiet, which i very enjoyed also. The staff made sure I had vegan food which I really appreciated. And the two dogs are just the cutest!

“Serene one-night stay in June on the Hahnenkamm.”
An amazing location on the Hahnenkamm close to the top of cable cars. With only 4 other guests it was very quiet. In the middle of June. We took a short walk in the evening with the mountain to ourselves, other than the cows. Spectacular views and very serene. Our host Michelle was wonderful. Dinner and breakfast were very nice. The start house for the downhill course was 200 meters away, which was very cool. Those Crazy Canucks from the 80's were crazy!

Perfect hut in the mountains if you want to hike. We stayed here during a multiday hike and were not dissapointed. Very friendly host. We received a free delicious schnaps on arrival. Very dog friendly as well. Very authentic mountain hut, reachable by foot or by cable car.
