Location was perfect, a short trip to our destination, St. Jacobs Market, Our room was actually a large suite, with a kitchenette. Beautiful back yard complete with a Japanese Koi pond!! Great hosts. A 20 minute breakfast turned into a three hour enjoyable and fun chat.

Eleanor and Dave are excellent hosts. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was clean and nicely decorated. Eleanor served a delicious breakfast which we enjoyed very much. We felt very welcomed in their home, and we thoroughly enjoyed chatting with them.

You will not find more welcoming hosts or a more charming backyard than this place. I stayed in the basement suite and the suite itself was spacious, clean, and the kitchenette area was a fantastic bonus.

A beautiful oasis with well placed water features and koi pond. So peaceful. Wonderful friendly hosts. Delicious breakfast. Comfortable bed. Good size room with everything you need plus thoughtful items like slippers and bathrobes.

Great host/hostess - very clear introduction to a lovely property. We enjoyed a good sleep - quiet, felt safe & comfortable. Property close to a good Thai restaurant for dinner.

I'm not sure why I had to lug my own suitcase and travel bag through the side gate, up the steep outside stairs, around a corner and in through a side door to my room on the second floor. Help with my luggage and going in through the front door would have been much more welcoming.

“Timeless charm”

Our room was beautifully decorated with a charming vintage vibe but was not without modern comforts & security. We had an excellent view of the koi pond. The landscaping for the property is enchanting , well thought out, creating a wonderful atmosphere. Our breakfast was both delicious and well balanced. We greatly enjoyed the company of our hosts and would definitely book again.

Eleanor and Dave were lovely hosts and warmly welcomed us to Forest Hill B and B. Breakfast was a great combination of fresh fruit and omelet with toast and homemade jam.

I count myself lucky to have crossed paths with such a warm-hearted couple in Canada. The room is not only comfortable and clean but also has a spacious and beautiful forest-style garden. Moreover, I was truly moved by their initiative in helping and caring for me. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Canada.

“A home away from home!”

Lovely home in a mature, quiet neighbourhood. We stayed in the lower suite. The room was very cozy, bed was comfortable and it had a kitchenette with some drinks and snacks provided. Outdoor property is gorgeous and would love to come back and enjoy it in warmer weather. Breakfast was delicious and included fresh fruit salad, frittata, hearty bread, homemade salsa, homemade jam and delicious bottomless cup coffee. Hosts, Eleanora and Dave, were very welcoming. We can definitely recommend this B&B.
