The hosts were super friendly and lovely. The house was warm and welcoming and felt "like home". The bathroom and shower area were very clean especially for being shared. The dining area, doubling as a common space, was cozy. There was only one restaurant (Italian) open in the evening and a single convenience store (usual opening hours) in the area, so prepare accordingly. As such we booked dinner and breakfast at the pension. It was a bit on the expensive side but the amount and especially the quality of the food made it worth. We were served a four course dinner, accompanied with great sake. The breakfast was western style. We would come back without a doubt.

The staff, family hotel, we're amazing. It really felt as a home to us. Food was delicious, really recommend having dinner at the property as well. Everything was clean and if you love nature or skiing, this is your go to spot. Best stay we've had in Japan.

Exceptional clean, wArm and inviting, generous rooms. Hosts were lovely, and very accommodating. Our stay was during massive blizzard and car park well maintained. Just a great location for skiing Nekoma north side.

Walk about 20 minutes from the cross road/bus stop/convenience store. The hotel is at the end of the small lane, very quiet. It is a wooden structure n decorated in western style. The bed is comfortable to me. The owner likes fishing much, as well as old/traditional music. If you stay there, u can share experience with him.

Very friendly owners who serve fantastic breakfast and dinner (dinner must be pre-ordered) in a cozy place. The accommodation is a 5-10 minutes walk away from the bus station and from the only convenience store in the village. The rooms are basic but cheap. Ideal choice for a planned hike of Mount Bandai.

Everything about it!! The building itself is very cozy with a lot of decorations all over the world. You will be falling in love with it the moment you explore it. They also have piano and other musical instrument that you can play. The room is also exceptionally comfortable and clean. You can also enjoy soaking yourself in the bath. The breakfast is really delicious. Aside from the main course, I was also given dessert and juice. Moreover, the owner is also really friendly. You will love both your stay and them. Not to mention, the place is really close to the beautiful goshikinuma ponds, one of the best place to enjoy autumn leaves in Tohoku, Japan.
