Overview
On the wooded shores of Lake Saroma, Tsuruga Resort boasts hot-spring baths, a sauna and 3 dining options. The spacious rooms have a seating area, bathtub and beautiful lake views. “Overall a wonderful experience!”
The dinner and breakfast buffets were outstanding! Dinner was especially impressive with a seafood platter comprising oysters, scallop and big shrimps as well as a wide variety of different dishes. Staff were also very friendly.

“A break from city living”
Breakfast was good. Onsen was nice. Staff were helpful. Ocean view was refreshing. Free coffee at lobby and table tennis game room available. Mountain and ordinary bikes for rental.

“Nice rooms and baths, but apathy regarding broken facilities.”
We stayed two night. Lovely bath on the second floor. Easily the nicest open air bath I got to use on this trip. Dated interiors, but room was clean. Lovely, comfortable beds and pillows. Breakfast was wonderful. Staff was polite.
